"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

The patio and pool area were particularly nice and we spent most of our time outdoors. "The host Stephanie was very welcoming. The property is very nicely decorated and spacious. It is well stocked with all the things you need for a comfortable stay. There is also table football, table tennis and various bikes for use of the guests. It is very quiet and set in the middle of the countryside. At about a 10 minute drive from La Haye and 20 mins from the beach. For us this was the perfect stay and just what we needed."
