“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old
Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again.
The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

“It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here.”

“Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms.
Very interesting history. Handy for town , 5 mins walk, hundreds of different restaurants
Lovely to have decent tea and coffee facilities in our room, with delicious biscuits. A really pleasant little hotel, very handy for the Station – just opposite.
