Built in 1902, this newly renovated 1,200 sq. ft. cottage (3 beds, 1 bath) is designed for a family getaways, couples weekend, group events and retriever folks. While you’ll feel worlds away in your private haven, you’re only 15 minutes from Zachary and a short drive to Baton Rouge.

Den – Private, relaxing, with two large sofas (including a queen pull-out) and its own entrance; sleeps 2.

Dining Room – Bright and open, perfect for meals or game nights.

Bedrooms (Sleeps 4) – Each with queen-size beds, blackout curtains, smart TVs, and plush linens.

Bathroom – Spa-inspired with tub/shower combo, large vanity, and excellent lighting.

Laundry Room – Full-size washer/dryer, ironing board, and iron.

Hosting a larger group? We can accommodate up to 8 guests. In addition to the 3 Queen beds, we provide a queen-sized air mattress with linens and pillows. A small fee applies for additional guests and covers all essentials.

We provide a complimentary  Baby Package with pack-and-play, highchair, baby gates, books, toys, and a red wagon.

• Outdoor-only security cameras monitor: gate, front door, and back fields
• Motion-triggered, 24/7 recording (no cameras inside the home)

📜 House Rules

• Occupancy: Sleeps 6; extra guests ($20/person/day)
• No Smoking/Vaping: $500 fee applies for violations
• Children: Must be supervised, especially near porches, ponds and wildlife
• Dogs: Vaccinated dogs welcome (2 max unless approved). Please keep off furniture, clean up, and use outdoor kennels or crates when unattended.

• Refund Policy: No refunds for cancellations due to weather, outages, or natural events.
• Recommendation: Purchase travel insurance for peace of mind.

Jennifer tending plants or projects, Brad might be on the tractor or training with our retrievers. We love to say hello and, if time allows, give a quick tour. Otherwise, you’ll have total privacy. We live 8 miles away and can be there quickly if needed.
