“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“The location was perfect with plenty of offstreet parking. Just steps away from excellent restaurants in Irish pubs. The apartment was adorable and a little funky. I loved it.”

“I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location.”

“Positives: Good location close to all the must do’s in Dublin, overall clean and comfortable for 2 people. Do not recommend more than that, even kids. Negatives: Ultimately host did have someone meet us with the key however initially was asking for us to meet somewhere else/15 mins away to get keys much earlier in the day. I specifically asked if there was parking available and was told yes, however was not told it would cost me 140 for the two nights!! There was a (what appeared to be) dirty……

“Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to plan your stay around Dublin. The sea side small town was absolutely amazing. And not to mention the convenient location of the restaurants right next door. ”

“Nice apartment with most everything you might need to have a great stay. A little bit worn , the lights in the hall and lift didn't work so walk up stairs to first floor, not a big deal for us. Bathrooms clean well stocked with power hot showers . We had a small family gathering with 6 2 grandkids and it was ideal with plenty of room and facilities to easily accommodate us all. Very quiet and secure and fabulous location just off Stephen green and loads of shops, restaurants and pubs on the……

“Overall the apartment itself was good but our stay was hampered by several unacceptable issues. The apartment was fairly nice and in a good location - walking distance to nearby hotspots. However, we experienced several issues below. While the host communicated some of these issues (and some were likely resulting from building maintenance), it does not excuse the fact that they negatively impacted our stay. The issues included: - extended periods without both hot and cold water access……

“This lovely 2 bed/1 bath with kitchen and sitting area is situated to make Dublin walkableCommunication with the host was clear and timely, and included videos for key access, walking access, and parking, which was excellent.Clean, warm, and inviting, all the amenities of home were available.”
