Newgrange Hotel

"We only stayed one night, but I wish we had been able to stay longer. The location was excellent, right in the middle of an interesting area of the city, but it was surprisingly quiet in our room even with the window open. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. I think it was the best night sleep any of us got this trip. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and took advantage of the included breakfast the next morning. The food was all very good. The Library area was perfect for me to get some work done in the morning while the rest of my family slept. The room was clean and seemed to have a new rug and I really appreciated the tabletop fan in our room. I would choose to stay here again if I’m back in the area."

"The stuff was friendly and the hotel lobby was magnificent but the building itself is old and the rooms show the age of the building, including the carpet, the furniture, the bathroom and especially the water pressure which was really bad, taking shower. Overall, the staff was friendly, and our stay was comfortable but our room did not meet our expectation and did not match the extravagance of the lobby. I suggested that the hotel undertakes renovation,of the rooms with new furniture, new carpet, upgrade of the bathrooms and more importantly, improvement of the water pressure."

"Our entire experience at Ghan House was exceptional, from our first dinner in the hotel restaurant to our final breakfast. The meals were outstanding, and the staff were superb in every way—warm, attentive, and professional. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully supplied with luxurious amenities. The bed and linens were exceptionally comfortable, making for a wonderfully restful stay. The peaceful setting, surrounded by beautiful mountain views, made Ghan House feel like a true sanctuary. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay in every respect. We would highly recommend Ghan House and look forward to returning."

Innisfree House

"Innisfree House is amazing. It is over a century old Edwardian townhouse owned by Robert DeNiro’s doppelgänger. He is an excellent host a pours a fabulous shot of TyrConnell whiskey and is a great conversationalist and family man. Our room was opulent and cozy. Breakfast was served in the dining room every morning with a variety of choices from the menu. This was included with the room. There is a coffee shop and market directly across the street. The lady who runs the place is Gitte,( I hope I got the spelling right). She is warm and witty and a wonderful hostess. This place provided us with not just a bed and breakfast but memories to last a lifetime. I pray that I will be back again. This place is wonderful."
Historic Barmeath Castle Guest Wing — Luxury Stay Amid Gardens & Woodland

"We loved our stay at Burmese Castle! What especially stood out where the castle grounds, including beautiful gardens and even a hedge maze which the kids loved. I so enjoyed walking around the grounds in the evening time, enjoying all of the flowers and hidden surprises. Surprises. The accommodations were quite comfortable, though there was a little bit of noise from the pipes in some of the bedrooms."
