Christmas fun
We really enjoyed this house and all it had to offer. The games room went down a treat with all our guests over the holidays and everyone was entertained from 18yr old nieces to 80 yr old grandmother and all in between. The beds were plentiful and very comfortable and the three bathrooms were all excellent - with lots of hot water and a gorgeous multi-jetted shower off the master bedroom. This place had all the things we needed in the kitchen and lots of space in a huge fridge - necessary when cooking Christmas dinner for 13! All in all a great place and we would come again.

Quiet week away
Our 2 families had a great week in Royston. Amenities were close by and it was nice to be able to walk to the ocean. The house was big enough to fit 8 people comfortably.

Cozy stay
We enjoyed our stay at this home. Many features reminded me of my grandmother’s home just a few minutes away. That was always a place of peace and security. Updated kitchen and master bath. Would highly recommend staying at this home! Air conditioning is only in main living room not main floor but was somewhere we could cool off from the warm days. Hosts are quick to respond and take care of all your needs!

Island Family adventure
The area is closed to everything we needed. We had so much fun with the game room when we are home. We felt comfortable and safe. My family would love to come back and explore more the island.

Perfect for our group
We are a golf foursome celebrating something like 30 years of annual get togethers. Royston is in reasonable driving distance of several great courses and a block away from the Royston seaside trail, which is a nice walking area along the historical beach. This property provided comfortable bedrooms for each of us and three bathroom/showers. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare great meals. The pool table and shuffle board and card table were great ways to spend our evenings. Our only complaint is that there was no wax for the shuffle board.

Golf Holiday
Returned back for the second year in a row, great comfortable stay for 4 golfers. Great kitchen and living room, dining area with a fabulous games room. Thanks Ross and Nancy.. we will come back again for sure.

Great family get away
This house was amazing for us. We were here for our daughters wedding and had 8 other family members staying with us. Worked perfectly. Tons of room, adult kids enjoyed the games room. Location was great. Really enjoyed Roys Pub just down the block. Great service and food. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Good location and property
We were five from across Canada visiting relatives in the area. The property worked well for us, dining room, kitchen, barbecue and great views from the front deck. We could walk down to the ocean and it is only 5 minutes drive to grocery stores in Courtney. The owner lives next door and was concerned with our well being: hot week and using all options to keep cool. We had a very enjoyable week.

Family gathering
The property was just as the listing stated. We needed something bigger to accommodate 6 of us with bedrooms on the main floor for our senior family member but not too far away from Comox. It was clean, we found everything we needed and appreciated the a/c in the living room. We also enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard downstairs. Thank you Nancy and Ross

Perfect Island Getaway
We absolutely adored this house. It had lots of charm with nice updates in the bathrooms. It was clean, had everything we needed, comfortable beds and pillows! The host was absolutely amazing. Popping in when we first got there to give us a quick run down of the place and delivered flowers! :) I thought it was right on the ocean but it's just a block up. There are ship wrecks in the water that you can see from the house and the ocean area was beautiful, perfect for exploring, trails all the way to the next town. We loved our stay, thank you very much! :)

Older home but features lots of updates very comfortable and spacious. Fun games room area.
Great location near the Comox valley. House was very comfortable was a little short of cleaning supplies so bring your own dishwasher and laundry soaps. Also have a detached garage which we were able to use which was nice. Owners live next door and would on occasion walk into the house unannounced to obviously check up on things. I wouldn’t have an issue with that if they contacted me first. There was 7 and then 6 of us and had booked 5 nights so we could mountain bike on the areas trails which you will find as a lot of fun. Overall a nice home with plenty of space and I would have no problems recommending it.

Large and Accommodating
We were a group of 8 with two children and this space suited us perfectly. We spent many an evening downstairs in the games room. Days were spent skiing, golfing and hiking. Impressed with the cleanliness. Unfortunately we accidentally left a piece of luggage behind and are disappointed that it has not been located.

Sisters Trip
4 senior sisters travelled to Vancouver Island to visit another sister, whose home was in close proximity to the VRBO. Excellent location and the space was perfect for us!

Would definately recommend this property. Property had a very homey feel. The kitchen was exceptionally equiped you lacked for nothing. The beds were all very confortable. We enjoyed the area lots of sites to see every day.

Great stay for large group
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Lot's of room for a group or family and the kitchen is well stocked. For larger groups my suggestion to the owners is to have additional garbage and recycling bins outside, so garbage isn't accessible to rodents etc. when you leave it outside. All in all a great place and highly recommend it! Thank you

Perfect for a family
A large home perfect for a family. Great location. A good spot this winter with lots of snow last week. There is skiing near by, tobogganing for the kids and great indoor pool in Comox with water slides. The scenery of course is amazing. We thoroughly enjoy our stay in Royston. The owner of the home was nearby and was so helpful. Highly recommend this home for a family

Wonderful Weekend at Royston, BC
We were all exited to stay in the house, based on the pictures. Upon arriving and quickly exploring the kitchen, dining room, basement game room and bedroom/showers, we were not disappointed at all. In fact, being there and staying in the house made it more enjoyable. Entering the house using the unlock code was a breeze. Later Nancy dropped by to check with us and made us feel welcome. The whole house was clean, and well furnished, with all appliances and amenities working well and in good condition. Getting food and other supplies in the city was a short, fun drive. Overall, we had a cool, comfortable, and memorable stay in this beautiful house. and city. When we were preparing to leave, Ross came by to talk and say goodbye. Thank you!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. But the bathroom accessories were not enough. No bath mat, no hand towel and the bath towels were too old and unpleasant.

Comfortable home in a great location
Hello. We had a group stay here to golf the local courses. The house worked out great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great BBQ. Nice deck with a view of the water. Everyone in our group said their bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and big TV downstairs. The owners were excellent. They are conveniently located next door. They were happy to help us and very nice to talk to. Many thanks.

Spacious and welcoming
We enjoyed this Air B&B -- it had a lot of room to spread out -- ideal for groups that need lots of sleeping and living spaces. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the water and the eagles. Great kitchen -- ideal for several cooks! Beautiful pictures and furnishings!

Royston retreat
Great property, nice house with a well equipped kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom is firm, the pillows were very flat. Hopefully the owners will replace the pillows soon.
