Private charming guest cabin on 3 secluded park like acres. Woodsy setting with hummingbirds, bunnies deer & elk. Picnic tables and deck for outside enjoyment. We love pets and welcome your well behaved fur babies.

Walk to Lake Morton, only a few blocks away. Enjoy fishing, swimming and non-motorized boat fun. Miles and miles of hiking, biking and horse trails just a few minutes drive away. The city of Covington is only 3 miles so you feel like you're in the woods far away but still very close for midnight ice cream runs.

30 Minutes from Seattle International Airport, 7 miles from Pacific Raceway, 40 minutes to Seattle, 30 minutes to Tacoma and 45 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass Resort. Room for trailers/RV.

Large lawn area, wooded area, and ferns. Fenced pasture with horses, doggies, kitties and chickens.

Open floor living and sleeping area, kitchen, deck, dining table and laundry. Handmade solid wood farmhouse queen bed, full sized sleeper sofa, and queen air mattress. Electric heat and air conditioning. Brand new barn wood vinyl plank flooring throughout the home. 65" HDTV with free WIFI, HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Disney and Amazon Prime available for nights in.

Pre and post arrival instructions were very clear. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with a charming modern farmhouse decor. We arrived after dark and we were glad to have our headlamps as the solar lights weren’t working (thank you, December). We would definitely stay here again!

Very charming, lovely place

We were very impressed with the little cabin. It was lovingly decorated and had everything you need for comfort. Though the owners house was right next door, the experience staying here included a great deal of privacy. Communicated thru text and phone to host, and that was mainly to address a minor internet issue, which was fixed very promptly. Be advised… the fenced backyards are used by owner’s animals 3 large dogs, geese, turkeys, horses. Guests have full use of the lovely front yard, which my pups enjoyed very much. The driveway is set back quite a bit so I had no worries about my pups in front yard tho they were supervised out there. The bed was comfy, the kitchen very serviceable. Some nice touches included an old style radio which we enjoyed for music. Bathroom very thoughtfully provisioned. We would stay again. It was very nice place to be.

The property itself is nice and indeed cabin-like on the exterior. The interior is very nice, well decorated and absolutely immaculate. It is very well appointed with any toiletries, towels and personsal items as well as a very complete kitchenet with everything you could need to cook. As a craftsman i was very interested in the workmanship in this property and it is excellent. Everything... paint, moldings and general construction was perfect with creative/matching fictures throughout. The exterior is utilitarian with cargo containers and a number of vehicles. Everything was very neet and tidy, but there isn't much to look at. Exterior gardens were just beginning to pop and good care for the landscaping is obvious. The property is emmediately adjacent to the host's home and there isn't really a the sense of privacy that a "cabin" might imply. That stated, it was perfect for our needs and convenient to the event we attended in Covington.

Our stay in Covington

We booked our stay for a weekend in February in Covington at the cabin because our dogs had Agility trials nearby. We didn't know what to expect since it was the first time, however, we needed a space for us and our dogs. The cabin was beyond our expectations and was very pleasant. We had the entire cabin for ourselves and our dogs. The location was perfect, we could go out with our dogs to do the doggy stuff and it was just 12 minutes away from the competition venue. Cabin is probably a bit rustic but we like it that way. It had almost everything we needed and when we couldn't find the kettle I texted April and she sent her son almost right away. The bed was very good and comfy which is important before and after the competition to get good rest. The kitchen area is convenient with the full stove and oven. Big screen TV was great addition specially since we stayed during the Superbowl weekend so I was able to watch Superbowl. The den is also very useful since I was able to work Monday morning. Overall we are very satisfied and want to thank our host April for letting us stay. We would definitely stay again when we come back for another Agility trials.

The cutest - most comfy little cabin ever! It was so nice for my daugther and I to celebrate Thanksgiving with family in Black Diamond and then drive only 15 minutes to snuggle into the cabin - avoiding a long dark drive in the rain that night. We awoke to beautiful clear blue sunny skies - very enjoyable. Highly recommend!!

This property is fantastic! Decorated super cute, really comfortable bed, stocked with all kinds of essentials. Excellent location, turkeys, geese, goats, horses, etc to add to the experience. Owner is fantastic, even built a fire so the kids could roast marshmallows. Definitely recommend.

Check in was a breeze and AC was on and chilled off for us. Host is a delight and easy to communicate with. The house is properly stocked and very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and any questions we had were responded to in a very efficient manner. We would 10/10 stay here again.
