This was the first time we stayed in a WeStay hotel, and we were not disappointed. Our room was clean, and the advertised amenities were available to us. The hotel is in a good location with plenty of shopping and dining options, and it is close to the interstate so you can easily go exploring in the Greater New Orleans area. The staff was great and the hotel easily accommodated us even though we made a last minute reservation. 10/10

The place is needing a renovation. The carpets were so old that there was no ply to it. It was smooth and sticky. We chose a two bedroom suite with a kitchen but there were no dishes or glasses or anything. The ice maker did work. The breakfast place was closed for renovations. The pool was closed. The AC didn’t cool. Management refused to give us a break on the price despite all the issues. Horrible experience overall.

We are working hard to make upgrades and improvements to our facility and apologize that you arrived prior to completion. We are not, however, renovating the breakfast area, we do not serve breakfast as our suites all have full kitchens included. Dishes are available upon request for sanitation purposes rather than kept in the rooms, so we apologize that this wasn't communicated to you. Upon maintenance checking the AC unit in your room, there was no issue found and the room was cooling to a comfortable temperature. Aside from all this, we are not able to discount rates booked through 3rd party booking sites as your reservation is with them, not the hotel itself. We wish you the best in all your future travels.

I had a clean room upon my arrival. There are plenty of shops around in case you forgot to pack something. Copelands has delicious food and it’s so close to the hotel. Overall a great stay

You get what you pay for. The room looked very old and so is everything in it. Rugs are grossly old and smelled. We did everything possible to avoid touching as little as we could. One night we arrived about 8pm and there were 7-8 guys out in the parking lot drinking and making alot of noise. We ran into the hotel and checked out next day. Charlie at the front desk was very nice. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend for families with little children.

The property is in very poor condition. The pull out couch was broken, stains everywhere and bugs! Furniture and carpet was ripped and it smelled of urine. We immediately went down for a refund after taking pictures and a video. They said only the owner could process the refund and it may take a day or two to reach her. After multiple calls and emails to her over 3 days without any contact we went back as we were told she would be at the property. She was not. We have been unable to reach anyone regarding our refund. The hotel clerk next door said this happens all the time and it's a scam. Once you pay the full amount then see the rooms, they refuse a refund and will not respond. It was the worst hotel we have ever been in.

Very rude woman working at front desk. Facing away from desk on phone, will not acknowledge guests. When I asked if she could help with an issue, response was "What??" while never looking toward desk. When I asked if she could pay attention, her she did turn around and her eyes shot daggers. Refused to help with my issue (room had no hair dryer - said one is in your room and if not, we dont have any. Wont get one from a different room). No way I'm returning.

Very bare bones, no services- no housekeeping, you have to sign your life away to get a glass, no phone, no Kleenex, not even a plastic cup for water, have to trade in towels at the front desk, have to take out your own trash. The location was good - right off the Interstate. The hotel was very quiet. The beds were uncomfortable, as were the pillows. One of the elevators smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the hallway smelled like wet, limp salad.

Worst Stay
I booked this hotel for a week. The very first night, it stormed and water started pouring in through the top of my window. I immediately notified the front desk in to which she just seemed confused and wasn’t much help. I asked if I could switch rooms and she said she would ‘text’ management and ask. I never got a reply for her for a while. She eventually came back to my room and said I couldn’t switch rooms till the next day and put a bunch of towels on the window sill and on the carpet. The room wasn’t cleaned properly either— along with the completely SHREDDED comforter they had on the bed. Why would you keep that there? The next day I asked the gentleman at the front desk if I could switch rooms, he kindly switched me. When I got to the new room, the handle in the shower was broke, the closet door was off the track leaning against the wall, none of the phones in either of the rooms worked, and to top it off there was a ROACH crawling across the desk. I have never felt so disgusted and uncomfortable at a hotel stay before. Not to mention, they didn’t do housekeeping once even when I asked them to when they came around to their ‘weekly’ housekeeping. If you need towels, you have to take yours downstairs and exchange them and the person doing it will act annoyed because you interrupted their FaceTime call with their friend. You also have to walk your trash to the dumpster. The staff was nothing but lazy and disrespectful.

The room was nice sized, but had some major issues which threw me off. If I'd known of the policies of the hotel I would have managed it differently. Here's what I would have done: brought my own drinking glasses, hangers, hair dryer, pillows and ice. The furniture in the room needs re-painting or staining--lots of wear and tear. There was a kitchenette with a refrigerator/ice maker, but it was not turned on. No ice and no ice machines in the hotel. We had an issue with the TV turning itself off. The front desk person graciously came to our room to help and secured the cord that was loose. The room was clean. There was no in-room coffee, but it was supplied in the lobby in the morning.

They had no hot water. I called the front desk and she said to keep it on for 20 mins to warm up!!! I asked for a new room and was denied therefore I asked for a refund and was told she couldn’t do it. Please fire everyone that this location and Cobden the building it’s falling apart scratches on everything smells of unintended carpets mold!!! I would not even let my dog stay here.
