"Loved the pool and area on the roof! My only complaint is the nosey traffic, which can't be helped, but nice to be aware of that. Also, it says oceanfront but there is a busy street, the main one... the ocean is there, but its kinda dirty down on that part and not much beach area. The staff outside letting you in and out are very nice, polite and helpful. I felt safe inside the property as a solo woman traveler, but I wanted to be able to walk on the beach at night from my room. I just couldn't...

Secrets Aura Cozumel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

8/10 Good
"Although I received A++ service from the staff I was a little saddened from all the renovations. There would have been a disclaimer about the renovations but the staff like Jerry, Barbara, Moises, Carlos @ Hibachi, Angel and Luz @Blue Fish were all excellent people. Also Ingrid was extremely helpful planning my 15 year anniversary. I would definitely comeback when the renovation are all done. My room was upgraded and also my private dinner on the beach was also upgraded. The scenery was magnificent. The food at the Blue Fish was to die for. Gohan and the Hibachi are a must! The food there was delicious."

The Explorean Cozumel - All Inclusive

"Our trip to the Explorean was amazing. The first impression when we arrived was awe at the lobby and the open-air restaurant. The grounds are so lush and peaceful. Everything is so well maintained and immaculately clean. The staff are all so friendly and ready and willing to help. We loved the fact that we had complete use of Fiesta Americana as well, which was also an equally amazing place, with their pools, pool staff, and restaurants. Staying here we had the best of both worlds...staying in a quiet luxurious jungle, or hitting the more lively pool and waterfront area to snorkel right off the deck in front of the morning buffet restaurant, or just lay on the chairs or beds that were right over the water. The only thing we were not as impressed with, and that is simply our preference and not necessarily anyone else's taste, was the food at the restaurants. We loved the Asian restaurant and the buffet on the water, and the cevicheria on the water. The others fell short with a lot of the selections we made. Again, that is just our impression, and others may absolutely love what they order."
