"Clean and quiet room. Excellent breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. "

"Hallways needed vacuuming, hall reeked of weed and dog pee. Room also smelled of dog pee. Human tooth hanging out on top of the bathroom mirror. Cabinet for Murphy bed had trash in it including wrappers for edibles. Breakfast area very messy with trash and food all over counters and floors. Trash cans outside overflowing. Took us over three hours to gets blankets, sheets and pillows for Murphy bed. Staff was nice and it’s a great location but they need some lessons in deep cleaning. "

"Highly recommended spacious home with waterfront access steps away with amazing sunsets. It had all the basic needs with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Dollar General is conveniently nearby for any supplies. Lake of Egypt is centered nicely to be able to enjoy Shawnee National Forest that has so many opportunities to enjoy the most beautiful trails in Illinois. Would love to come back to take advantage of the lake for boating and fishing (stayed in March). "

"This was a very nice place. Plenty of room for friends and family. We loved being on the lake. Two great places to eat close by. We also enjoyed the state parks and walking trails in the area. I would definitely recommend this home. "

"Great location and space. The showers were great! The towels were old and in poor condition, several kitchen drawers needed cleaning, the back patio was covered in leaves, and several pieces of furniture were broken."
