「We had a lovely retreat in the Lemonaide cabin! It was a great spot close to the lake, and very relaxing. It seems the stairs to the dock are a work in progress, but we made it down the steep gravel walk without issue, and really enjoyed the fire pit. Hot tub was also a nice perk!"5 bedrooms" seemed a bit inaccurate, as one bed is actually on the second floor landing without privacy or a door. 「My sister and I had a great time staying in the cozy cabin. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch listening to the trees sway and the geese honking. We had our evening cocktails by the fire pit, looking at the stars and listening to the cicada or crickets. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. This place had everything that we needed to use as a base camp as we explored the thrift shops in Carbondale, the antique stores in Carterville, and hiking at Giant City State Park. 」
