For those of you that want to experience a country coastal retreat this is the place for you. Just 5 minutes from Kellogg beach this spacious studio is nestled among beautiful horse pastures. Make your way 5 minutes the opposite direction and find yourself at the banks of the serene Smith River, one of the cleanest rivers in the nation with its pristine undamned emerald waters. This river is well known for its seasonal fishing and guides. Towering over the river and surrounding land you'll find the majestic old growth redwoods. Explore the Grove of Titans, and walk among the Largest Redwood Trees in the World. This coastal retreat will be one to remember.

Lovely spot in the countryside so close to the beach. Super peaceful stay and we had everything we needed for a restful overnight. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time. Clean, cozy and super comfy bed. Everything we needed in the kitchen, bonus points for having an electric kettle a staple in every Irish kitchen back home! Wonderful host, thanks so much Angel.

Loves our stay!
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was very clear that a lot of thought had been put into their place. There were a lot of little details that went above and beyond. We had traveled to crescent city to visit the redwood National Forrest and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay
The location of this property had us well positioned between our destinations in Crescent city and southern Oregon. We really enjoyed the recommendations left out by the owners. The studio apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Our family enjoyed playing the games provided as well. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying in The Cozy Country Retreat. It is such a beautiful property, with updated furnishings and decor. It has such an inviting, open floor plan, with everything we needed to make us feel at home. It is on the second floor so we could leave our windows open at night and feel secure. It had a very comfortable, king size bed, and all of the linens, bedding, and entire living space was immaculately clean. We loved having a garage underneath the our living space to park our car. It also had a very nice washer and dryer, with soap included so we could do our laundry. This was an outstanding location for visiting the Redwoods National and State Parks. We would definitely stay again. Our host was wondering too!
