"Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Tranquil setting inside and out. Host was incredibly accomodating. This was a solo stay and I enjoyed the peace and relaxationg from my stay. This is definately one of my favorite stays at an amazing property. I will definately return on my next trip to Maine."

"The place was so cozy and decorated for the season perfectly. Wonderful furniture, though the basement bedroom left a little to be desired with all the water toys right next to the bed. Great kitchen, fully stocked with everything we needed to create a feast. And the snow made the magic complete. Thank you!"

"This charming lakefront cottage was immaculate, full of conveniences, an amazingly well stocked kitchen, shocking amount of sleeping space and a lovely large deck! the owners have really thought of everything! the only challenge is finding the location off of the lane! loved every minute! "

"We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet. We were greeted by ducks on the pond most days. It was conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and our relatives. A few things could be improved. The instructions listed a WiFi network that didn’t exist, but I found a QR code on the refrigerator that listed the correct one. The kitchen needs under the counter lighting which appears to have existed previously. The light over dining table didn’t work. Need microwave dish with a cover. Numerous TV channel changers in basket. I found two that worked & put them on top of table & moved rest below. Not sure about recycling, but I did separate the glass into an empty garbage container left inside the front door. Instructions would be helpful for recycling. I was concerned about the water system because it would often spurt like there was air in the pipes. It didn’t affect getting water or taking a shower. In spite of these minor problems we did have a wonderful time and I would stay here again."

"Beautiful home, wonderful location, very private. The home and grounds were both very well maintained. Being pet friendly was definitely a plus for me, as my sister had her little Boston Terrier with her. The lake view was awesome, especially from the dock. We saw a pair of loons every day! I only had to contact our host on one occasion, and he responded within minutes. Matt was very helpful and pleasant. The only negative for me was that I couldn’t stay longer. I hope to return for a longer stay, and would highly recommend this property. "

"I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. Great kitchen to cook in and grill outside was great too. Sleeping with the windows open and hearing the loons at night was so peaceful. We took advantage of the new sauna on the property. Helen, the house manager was very attentive and patient with all of our questions. I felt like I had a friend by the end of the trip, so thanks Helen! And thank you to Carmen and Mark for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. "

"This place was just short of perfect. We agreed that with an upgrade to the bed to something a bit bigger and a little more comfortable than the pullout couch the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Great for the two of us and the dog! Loved being right on the water. Very beautiful. We’d stay there again for sure. "
