Great location and perfect for families

Nice property with everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and patio was great for enjoying the outdoors. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Property

This property is perfect! We knew it was a great spot too when our vacation was over and we didn't want to leave. It was spacious and the yard was perfect with small children. We played frisbee and enjoyed the sunsets each afternoon. We'll book here again!

Family time in CB

The property is stunning! Great space for our motorized ‘toys’ in the garage. The home is just that-warm, inviting & well-stocked. Everyone was happy in their own room! Grateful for extra towels, kitchen items, & washer & dryer. The location is very near CB & trails.

Lovely home but needs more clarification on guest policies and leasing contract.

The home and location was beautiful, as is all in Crested Butte. Having lived in CB for many years we were looking for a place we could relax and enjoy our family for our daughters wedding. We unfortunately had a miss communication with the Iron Horse Management, Steve Ryan. Our only contact was thru email, no calls before checking in. We let them know we were in CB for a big wedding. Our daughter got married at 10 peaks at CB Ski Resort (beautiful and highly recommend.) We had to bring a Uhaul for all their decorations and such and since there are CAMERAS around the property, the new owner saw that we had a U-haul and contracted the Iron Horse Management. They promptly sent over Heidi, a staff member to see what our intentions for the weekend were. We mentioned that we were having my 91 year old mother and brothers and sisters over for some Secret Stash pizza (20 people max.) Our family is large, but that was all who were coming that night, a mellow night to enjoy each other and catch up. We also mentioned to Heidi that we were going to have an Open House the next day from 4-6, for those who came in town from many different areas of the country to pick up their wedding goodie bags before they checked into their prospective properties, being very upfront. Heidi went back to her bosses, Shannon and Steve and was told to come back and let us know that we were not allowed to have more than 15-18 people at the house at one time. In the lease contract/and this website the max occupancy to sleep at the home is 12, we only had 9 total staying at the home. Thankfully we graciously had some family members/town folk offer to help us out with what was needed to greet our family and friends. This home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, but unfortunately we feel that in the description of this home and lease that they need to make sure renters know they are only allowed to have 15-18 MAX at one time, INCLUDING ANY VISITORS. We had to tell our friends and family and wedding personnel that they were not allowed at the house and to please call before so we could make sure that number was not exceeded. Even our wedding planners and other wedding coordinators were surprised by this rule as they used to have weddings and such at this very ranch. (it is a new owner as of January, thus the change in rules.) Again it was a lovely home, beautiful views, relaxing and wonderful and we appreciate the use but more clarification needs to be noted when leasing.
