It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. The cabin is well equipped, check-in is easy, and the owners respond quickly if you have any questions.」

「We had an amazing time at this cabin!! It was such a beautiful home with an incredible view. We spent a minority of our time out on the back deck which was incredible. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes and blankets etc. The owners were available whenever I messaged them and they gave many resources for things to do in the area!!」

「We visited the area to do some fishing at Philpott Lake and some much needed time away from work. Once arriving to the Barnhouse we were greated by the chickens. That is when we realized our stay was going to be great. Then we entered the Barnhouse and it was perfect. Not much else I can say.. You just have to experience it for yourself. 「Stunning views, very comfortable, well furnished home. Beds were super comfortable. The view did not disappoint even with cool weather and strong winds. Clara was so helpful with great directions to arrive and super directions for the hikes. This is a beautiful part of the country. We are already planning to return. Had an amazing lunch at Chateau Morrisette which is surprisingly close. I totally recommend this home and the pictures are true to life.」
