Escape to our luxurious log cabin with beautiful views! Our quiet community of cabins is moments from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mabry Mill & Rocky Knob Recreation Area! At 3000 feet (~1000ft higher than Asheville) we have cool summer evenings and snow-laced winters. Hiking with incredible vistas, vineyards, memorable dining, fly fishing, ziplining & kayaking are all nearby.



The Space:

Discover our newly renovated mountain retreat in Meadows of Dan, a peaceful escape offering authentic charm and modern luxury. The open concept living area features vaulted ceilings, a stone gas fireplace, and a designer leather couch, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you want to invite friends and family on your getaway, check out our neighboring cabin as well!



The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and all the essentials for gourmet cooking. The primary bedroom offers a luxurious live edge wood suite and a smart TV, while the lofted second bedroom includes a queen bed and a convertible sofa. The bathroom features a marble shower and a deep soaking tub for ultimate relaxation. Step onto the front deck to enjoy stunning pastoral views, rocking chairs, Restoration Hardware lounge sofa and a gas grill for outdoor dining.

The kitchen is stocked with EV olive oil, pink Himalayan salt, black peppercorn grinder, dish soap, hand soap, kitchen towels, paper towels, trash bags, starter dishwasher pods, coffee, tea and more to make your packing easy! Ninja blender for morning smoothies and afternoon cocktails, drip coffee maker and ground columbian coffee/sugar/creamer, water boiler for tea, cocktail shaker, glassware, pots, pans and utensils. Also provide kids serving ware.



The dining table is set up for 4, and easily accommodates 6 with the hardwood entry bench added to a side. The living room features a designer leather couch, custom barn wood coffee table, comfortable side chair with stool, and oversized floor pillows for snuggling up beside the fire. The house has abundant layered lighting to create the perfect environment for cozying up with a book or relaxing in the evening.



The inviting master bedroom features a beautiful Phoenix Hardwoods live edge suite including bed frame, dresser and side tables. 100% cotton sheets and lush blue velvet curtains add a luxurious feel to the room and offer true comfort for sleeping in. The room has a Smart TV for movie nights in bed, overhead ceiling fan, screens on the windows to enjoy nighttime breezes, brushed brass reading lamps, and a makeup desk area.



The marble wrapped shower with extra deep soaking tub is perfect for unwinding after a busy day of adventures. We provide Moroccan Oil shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and towels so you don't have to take up valuable packing space. We use Free & Clear Unscented laundry detergent on bedding and towels so our guests with sensitivities can breath easy. The bath also offers full sized washer & dryer available for use during your stay along with a starter pack of Free & Clear washer pods so you can refresh laundry and towels during your stay if you wish.



In the vaulted living room ascend the stairs to the lofted open air second bedroom. This room features a brass farmhouse queen bed, dual hanging farmhouse pendant bedside reading lamps, ceiling fan, screened window, and room darkening curtains. The room also offers a hardwood futon lounger that opens into an additional queen bed.



Step outside on the breezy front deck to enjoy rolling pastoral vistas, cool morning air, and showstopper sunset views. Two rocking chairs and a Restoration Hardware sofa make this a great place to relax, catch up or wind down. The deck also offers a gas grill, and access to the front shared yard area, perfect for kids to play or for a game of cornhole or frisbee!



Long term stays welcome. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mabry Mill, Floyd, Meadows of Dan, Stuart, Chateau Morrisette, Villa Appalaccia Winery and Primland resort.



Guest Access:

Pull up to Unit 22 and park in the two spaces to the far Left facing the house (the far right space is for our neighbor).



Follow the gravel path on left side of the house to the front door. There is an electronic touchpad so you don't have to keep up with a key!



The Neighborhood:

Our cabin is in a vacation cabin community, and we also have the cabin above your parking area for rent ("Log Cabin|Copper Tub..."). The majority of cabins are second homes; the community is quiet, peaceful and very safe. All common area in the community is shared.



Getting Around:

You will need a car to get around



Other Things to Note:

Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. Follow the speed limit in the community.

We have absolutely fallen in love with this area of the Blue Ridge Mountains and we want you to, as well! We are happy to answer questions that you may have whether it's a hankering for a local wine, a need for expansive vistas in your day, or a good plate of Mexican food, we are happy to help you find the closest and best place to make that happen.



We want you to be able to settle into this home as if it was your own. We'll stay out of your way, but we're just a quick message away if you have questions about restaurants, events or the house, or if an unexpected issue arises.
