「Hotel was convenient access from highway; room was clean; bed comfortable. Continental breakfast better than most.」

「Hotel undergoing renovations and updating of an existing and dated hotel. Pool was closed due to repairs/renovation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of choices and was maintained and good. Our room was clean and recently updated. However, our room’s wall thermostat did not work, but the old ac/heater worked manually, although it was loud and clunky. Overall, nothing to brag about but we were happy with our stay.」

「Room was clean but could hear people/noise in hallway as the room was on ground floor. Great location to stop between Florida and Toronto, Canada. Pool and hot tub looked unhealthy so we didn't bother with either. Breakfast was simple, had the basics including waffles, bagels, cereal, hot cereal packs and some fresh fruit. Coffee was disgusting and tasted like it was a day old. The staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a good place to stay, but don't expect anything fancy.」

「What a gem! Rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant/Bar serve an excellent variety of dishes and cocktails. Rooftop lounge (although bar wasn’t open yet for the season) offers a fabulous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking forward to a return visit in season and to explore quaint Wytheville!」

「Quick overnight for an event the next day. Convenient location, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a little lackluster, but overall a good experience.」

「Mmmhh, not the typical Hampton experience. Upon check in, the lobby seemed unusually small and with a group of 3-4 checking in ahead of us and my group of 6 it was tight; although I know this was probably an unusual situation-not a complaint just an observation. Parts of the hotel were being renovated while we were there and looks like it is going to be very nice; however, outside (back/side) it was the messiest site I have ever seen; this is speaking to the contractors doing the renovation...

「Sink has a large crack which has been filled with grout or other material. Bed clothes and towels were clean. Carpet appeared dirty. Breakfast very limited. No black tea, fruit, or waffles. The hotel appears old and tired. Needs a renovation. Appeared to be short staffed. Expect more from a Marriott. 」
