「Im posting this review in part because I’m disappointed with Expedia. And posted a negative review to East Bay Suites by accident. Because my reservation at Black Sand Beach Hotel was a disaster! I stayed at East Bay Suites last week and the week before and service was first class! Great location! Beautiful views! And fair price for the time of year. I felt at home! A real hiker paradise! Tried to find something in Silver Bay with Expedia and showed up to nothing but a “You do not...

「It is IN the woods, which is a bonus for me. The outhouse was clean, there’s two outhouses in 1 building. There was no one staying in the yurt across the driveway, so I was alone. Nice. The cabin was clean. It looks like they are adding a screen porch, which will help keep the bugs at bay if you want to just sit outside a while during bug time. There was a Solo fire pit with available wood, which I didn’t use. I love the back window in the cabin, watching the hummingbirds and other unusual birds...

「The location is ideal. The accommodations were as described, however, I would not review the toilet (outhouse) as super clean, as we had read on previous reviews. It was fine, but not exceptional. Just to reinforce, we were very glad we had a space heater for nights in the 40s and 50s. There is minimal wattage in the dome and so we had to keep the fan on low and did not dare raise the temp above 65°. It took the edge off. This is a great “primitive” experience. The dome is super cute. It could...

「The pictures posted accurately represent the property. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s throughout the North Shore. The positives:Location location location! Walking distance to everything in town. Comfortable beds Shower with great water pressure and spacious bathroom Negatives:This is a multiunit house and you can hear others walking above as well as below. The furniture in living room could use some updating- the couch is quite uncomfortable and you can feel the springs sticking into you as you sit...

「We loved our stay in this spacious secluded home! The renters were very communicative and responsive. The only two negative things were the electronic door lock battery died so we couldn't lock the door when we went out exploring and the arcade machine had no sound despite using the YouTube how to video. We were so pleased with our stay, we may book this place annually for our Northshore trip.」
