Winter retreat

Very nice, clean, and bright vacation spot. Enjoyed the wooded secluded location. We made good use of the kitchen. Great location, close to XC ski spots and Grand Marais. We were snowed in (couldn't get back up the driveway) for a bit due to the heavy snow.

Cozy escape

Our group had ages ranging from 70 to 7 and we all had an amazing time on this property! It was in a very convenient location with easy access to both Grand Marais and Lusten. If you decided to hunker down and spend your entire stay in this cabin it's incredibly comfortable, welcoming, and has beautiful scenery right outside your windows. We cannot wait to come back to this area soon!

Perfect Family Vacation in Beautiful Grand Marais

While not directly on Lake Superior, we enjoyed the peacefulness of being nestled within nature just a few miles outside of Grand Marais. The location was perfect for our family of five - close proximity to town as well as many trails. The home was as described, modern, comfortable, and well kept. We would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Grand Marais!

Great Getaway

The house is lovely and you definitely feel like you're in the woods. You can hear the waterfall close by, and yet you're close to the town and hiking that it's a quick 10-15 min trip to get to many fun adventures. I highly recommend!

This is the perfect cabin feel mixed with a nice chill vibe getaway! Very spacious, open, cozy, and wonderful window views upstairs. Location is conveniently secluded, and it’s just beautiful. All the kitchen items you can dream of and more.

Great Northwoods Getaway

I booked this place for my family for a week getaway. It was super cozy and the 3 king size beds in each room was key! It was a great jump point to be able to golf, ebike, trout fish, and even head into Grand Marais. All within short driving distances. We would definitely come back.

Luxury is the perfect description of this home. Everything is high end and well appointed. The hosts were extremely responsive. We had a lovely time and plan to be back. Great location for skiing Lutsen and we even did Spirit Mountain. Highly recommend this home.

Fishermen picnic weekend

Very nice to be in a private home just a short drive from all the hustle and bustle from the weekend's activity. Very nice property. Extremely clean and some nice upgrades throughout the house. The only drawback was there wasn't a lot of yard. There may have been a lot of land but it was covered in brush and Forest.that was not accessible to play yard games on. Family get away

Property was as described in the listing. It is very nice, clean and comfortable for the 5 adults we had with us. The deck was very nice until the bugs found us each evening but there’s not much you can do about those nasty skeeters. The deck fireplace was lovely. All rooms having king size beds was a huge plus. The location for town and activities was great. Cons: the picnic table was out in the ‘yard’ surrounded but huge weeds. If it was moved to under the pergola it might get more use? The firepit/smoker stove is very inconveniently located. I’m not sure how one would ever use it. The arcade could have been so much fun but you can tell that has had some serious play as the joysticks are very loose and lag behind when playing, making play difficult. And lastly, it accommodates 6 but the table only has 4 chairs. We pulled the office chair over for our 5th so it was fine but I’m not sure what we would have done if we’d had a 6th person. I’ve stayed at several VRBO properties and this one is very nice. My cons are VERY minor in comparison to how nice the place is.

Amazing Vacation Spot

Such a great place to get away from it all for a week! The location was absolutely beautiful and the cabin had all the amenities you would want. The check-in process was simple due to excellent communication with the owners. Only about five minutes from downtown Grand Marais but was still nestled away in the woods. We will definitely be back!
