“We visited the area for a music concert at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater and found this location to be an ideal place to settle back after the concert. The owner of this 30 acre farm lives nearby but not too near by. We texted at times ( like when the TV weathermen were explaining maybe to seek shelter, which the owner graciously offered. The treehouse is well constructed and besides a little creaking and a gentle bump, even when the power went out we were happy as clams. This property is RIGHT on……

“We loved this cabin! It's very close to Rough River State Park where we usually stay on Memorial Day Weekend. But this cabin is so much better than the State Park's cabins. Very clean and well furnished. It was great to have a nice place to stay since we were inside for quite a while due to the weather. We hope to be back soon!”

Clean, well stocked, very comfy furniture and beds. The only con is all 3 bathrooms are upstairs via a narrow spiral staircase. (However, it is an easy walk around to the front door if you don’t want to use the stairs.) Several bedrooms are also upstairs in case you have those who can’t use them. However Mining Camp was only 15 minutes from the venue! To have my whole family under one roof was priceless! And we even had our two Aussies with us!
