“This is such a gem! Cute boutique style hotel that kept is charm but has been updated in the past 5 years (i think 2021) and it is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and pointed out great stores, restaurants, and pubs. They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. Surprised how much i feel in love with this place. ”

“For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary.”

“This was one of the top highlights of my trip to Ireland. The farm is lovely (enjoy petting the cows and baby lambs!) and the owner/hostess (Sheila) is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She also makes an excellent Irish breakfast. Seriously, don’t miss this place. ”

“This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a nice patio. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, updated, and instant hot water in the shower. They refreshed the bathroom supplies daily. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious. “A really lovely hotel in a magnificent village. Very friendly and professional staff . Nice large well presented room . Great continental breakfast included free, great selection. The area is astounding. We took a boat trip to Garnish Island,15 mins . Basking seals on the way and a truly beautiful island that had been gifted to the nation by a man who created a remarkable paradise.Glengarriff goes straight to number one in my favourite places .”
