“I'm writing this review based more on the host than the property at Deerpark. We had booked the Deerpark location, but the morning we were to check-in, we received a message indicating that we've been moved to a different rental location due to a 'plumbing issue at Deerpark'. We were assured by Justin that the new location would be better: more room, a big backyard, etc. Upon checking in, it was bigger, but certainly not better. This place was dated and in need of several repairs. The carpet……

“Clean Safe Location”

“Justin, while nice, changed the property the day of the reservation without explanation. He sent texts to me while I was traveling. There was no time or option for me to rent another space for myself and my family. The unit we stayed in, I saw when booking and chose not to book. The unit we were given was smaller than what was booked, not as well furnished, and needed repair. The upstair’s shower actively leaked thru the kitchen ceiling, light fixtures were broken and would malfunction……

“Beautiful property and a good place to refresh after a long flight. Quiet, owners were nice, and scones waiting for us upon arrival. 'True Ireland' location.”

“Great stay in this spacious villa, virtually brand new so very clean and well stocked. The owner Justin lives next door and is quickly responsive to any questions or requests - he truly goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are satisfied. We had plenty of space for our family and appreciated being able to walk to anything we needed.”

“Directions to the property were a bit vague. Listing indicates "next to the palace".”

“**AVOID** the host cancelled accommodation at the last minute which meant we couldn't attend a family wedding and than wouldn't answer my message when I was looking for a refund. He kept all my money and refused to pay. which I'd read the other reviews about him”

“A truly ethereal location, unlike anything we have ever encountered. The accommodation so reflects the owners, Dave and Suzanne, who were so warm and friendly. If you want something different, gothic/eclectic, in a beautiful mid-Ireland settlement, this is for you! And it was dog friendly! Loved it!”
