I loved it here! We were in town for a wedding. Everything was clean, it smelled fantastic, the king bed was so comfortable that we didn’t want to get out of it, and it had nearly everything we needed. Our teenagers had their own rooms as well. It was perfect for what we needed!

Dated but functional

Overall, an aging condo with some upgrades. Worked fine for our visit, but on the expensive side. Addressing issue mentioned in other reviews: 1) Someone attempted to clean the carpets with cleaner that bleached some areas. 2) The top bathroom vent did not work, the others did. 3) We were off-season so didn't need AC but heat, which was fine except even with the fan set to ON, the upstairs rooms were warm while the first floor was still cool.

Not restful

I think the owner is trying to make some specific upgrades, but it is an older unit that is showing some wear and tear. If you make an upgrade, bring the whole room up to date.The bunk bed was wobbly, so our grandson used the bottom. One of the mattresses on the top floor was so bad that my daughter-in-aw slept on the floor for both nights. Even normal conversation outside the unit felt like it was inside which made it very difficult to get to sleep. On the positive side, the shower head was great and the towels were good quality. The upgraded sinks, counters, and flooring were very nice. I messaged the owner two days ago and offered some other suggestions, but I have not heard back from her. Unfortunately, our usual rental options were taken. This unit was overpriced. It is our worst experience with VRBO to date.

Utilitarian

Location PERFECT, Communication PROMPT. Lori was immediate to address the air conditioning unit, Thank you. UNFORTUNATELY the accommodations are in need of major renovation and code appliance. The highlights being the obvious constant battle with mold in this unit. The AC unit is not large enough for this 3 story unit. There is no immediate fire escape through windows or the exterior French glass doors on the third level, and no smoke alarm devices. (There’s an exterior fire escape latter in case but the door is barricaded with an outside bar) No immediate ventilation from the bathrooms. Which explains the water bags in all the closets. The kitchen utensils are old and dangerously dull. I was unable to cut raw chicken and cutting a watermelon was not happening. The bottom rack of the dishwasher slides out onto the floor. I can’t forget to mention the visible signs of an attempt to bleach mold out of the wall to wall carpet. The list goes on. I/we visit FFG regularly to play their wonderful golf courses. Unfortunately multiple bedroom accommodations are scarce. So I was excited to find this unit, however over all disappointed. 😔
