Gorgeous Remote River House

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home on the New River! It fit our family of 6 plus 2 dogs perfectly with plenty of space to spread out and so much to do inside and out! The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed fishing on the river, the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone and a relaxing fire pit on a gorgeous clear night! One of the days it rained and there was not a shortage of indoor activities to do that day. We went to the New River State Park “Wagoner Access” about 15 min away and enjoyed a short afternoon hike. The Blue Ridge Mountain rental management company was very responsive when we emailed about a couple of small things in the home. Nothing that needed immediate attention. Nathan’s creek general store was about 5 min away and great for small things like fishing gear and drinks. Going into town to West Jefferson was about 25 min and there was plenty of grocery stores and we enjoyed pizza from the Dough Shed Pizzeria. Overall one of our best trips to North Carolina!! We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!!

We had such a great time at this cabin! It was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. The view from the porch was gorgeous—perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets.The game room was such a fun bonus! It had something for everyone—pool, darts, board games, and plenty of space to hang out. We spent hours in there just relaxing, laughing, and having a blast. Everything was clean, well-kept, and set up perfectly for family time or friendly competition. Definitely made the stay even more enjoyable! beautiful river, and caught some fish pet friendly lots of beds hot tub very private, quite location
