This house is high and dry but was updated on the surrounding area. The house is beautiful and well maintained. We found everything just as promised and even better. 「This little place was exactly as advertised. Some nice charm to it!Like most little houses, don't expect much privacy from your travel mates, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If your neighbors are out at their fire pit during your stay, you'll likely want to give them a wave since it's rather close. Think of it like camping! 「This is a great property that can accommodate a larger group easily. The main house is very nice, some highlights were the well stocked kitchen, relaxing den area, and the back porch with a wood burning fireplace (and plenty of firewood available). The bunk house is better for kids than adults, though our adults managed just fine! WiFi worked pretty well for being so remote. 「Traveled to area to go to Mammoth Cave and spend time with family! We have 14 yo, 10yo and 4 yo whom absolutely loved their stay! Making s’mores was a blast!! Plenty of games and entertainment too! The loft aka tree house as kids called it was a hit!! Cabin was very well stocked with everything you would need! Only thing could have used a Tv on second floor for bedtimes! 」

「It’s nice and tucked back in some beautiful trees. The place was clean and pretty much exactly what we were looking for. The only drawback is as a very firm master suite mattress, but some folks love that! The communication with the hosts was fantastic and they did a pretty good job of leaving instructions for things. I’d stay here again. 」

「It is a very cute and cozy house. The view of the water was beautiful and we even collected some wood to Have a fire on the patio in the fireplace. Pretty secluded so make sure you get food to cook before you start your trip to the property there is not a lot of anything close by. 」

Laundry on site was very helpful to clean our clothes after hiking, cave tours and kayaking. You have privacy yet you are located close to everything (fast food/Walmart, etc. 15 minutes away). 」

「Nice little lake house, good property with a dock on the water. Some more amenities would have been nice, like soap/shampoo in the shower. Great place to hang out and in a great location.」

「For anyone wanting a get away from the chaos of society, this house has what your looking for. This fully furnished house has the utensil and everyday needs to make getting away simple all you need is your suitcase!. The house has amazing wood work throughout the house giving you that cabin on the lake vibe, nestled along the lake. My family and i absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away! 」
