This hotel surprised me. The exterior is very dated but the family room was spacious, it had a full kitchen and a private outdoor space. I would stay again.

This is a property from another era. The size and HVAC were not current standards but still great for what I wanted. It is a relatively safe location and I didn't notice the highway noise just outside. My only potential issue was the door locks/security framing were quite antiquated and I felt compelled to take my valuables with me. I stayed three days without any issues however.

It’s clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s not the newest property but nothing was damaged or missing. Nothing fancy, but certainly acceptable for spending the night. I’ve stayed in places claiming to be more than they are with mold in the bathrooms - didn’t see or smell any here.

You get what you pay for - there is a reason why it is low cost. Paper-thin walls so you could participate in the conversation in the next room. Friendly guy on front desk and comfortable bed. The adjoining restaurant closed at 6.30 pm on a Tuesday night but did a good takeaway.

In a small town with few options, Frontier Motel provided my family with a safe, comfortable spot to spend the night. The motel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom did have a musty smell, but otherwise no problems. While the room could use an update, it had pretty much anything we needed: microwave, TV, refrigerator. No hairdryer, but I'm guessing we could have gotten one from the office. I also very much liked the big tree outside our room, which had a table and chairs under it. Very pleasant. Staff was professional and helpful.

Just sleep

Start with positives. Front desk was nice and bedroom section was clean and was quiet. Now the negatives…mold growing above the shower on walls. No door or curtain on shower walk-in which allows water to spray all over the floor. Bathroom is so small you must stand in shower to close the door. I know the place is old but have never had to do that before. If your looking for a quick sleep it will do but wouldn’t stay here again.

Great if Graded on a Curve

It was clean and might be the only place in Cuba. It doesn’t have many plugs for charging stuff. The Cuba economy appears to be in a downward spiral. Restaurants that Google thinks are open at all or for breakfast are not - McDonald’s is. Many unused buildings on the main thoroughfare. The attraction I planned to see was so far from any people it spooked my wife so she wouldn’t leave the parking lot (no other cars were there). All we did that day is drive through unsettle county to see bushes, cattle and oil wells. But this motel is clean.

First off, the property was clean and in good repair. I got a clean bed and shower for the night. Don't expect anything fancy. While we were there, I'd say it was mostly aimed at CDT hikers and construction workers. Perfectly safe, but no frills.
