“Very precious property- badly maintained. Kids play area all broken- Pumpset motor is burnt, AC cooling effecct is very poor, Garden is full of bushes- not watered plants- overgrown bushes. dry leaves all around. The staff- Sundareswaran and Sounder are good- polite- humble. They tried to accomadate all our grievances- tried to solve the motor issue & AC cooling. But it is beyond their capacity.”

“It was nice stay, however, check in was time taking, we needed to wait for almost 30 minutes without any valid reason. I feel they can easily improve on it.”

“Bed sheets were not of great quality. Water in the bathroom had foul smell. Nor sure if the smell was from water drainage. Only good part is is close to the temple. Also no parking available. And there is no elevator. If you have private driver, there are no amenities for the driver.”

“Small hotel near Chidambaram town. Mostly run by female staff which is very commendable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were old with geyser for hot water and limited shower facilities and use of bucket and tumbler for having a shower. Reason we stayed here as we wanted to visit Chidambaram Chilli Nataraja temple and had to stay for 1 night. Probably wouldn't stay more than a night.”

“Very basic place.. cockroaches around, dirty cloth, had to remind to get towels, no dustbin within the room. Only advantage was it is walkable to the main temple…. Too much money for such a basic and old place ”

“My stay at Sagar Residency was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this property to anyone. I had booked the hotel for 4 nights, but after staying only 1 night, I decided to leave because the experience was so poor. The overall condition of the property was not as expected. The service quality was very disappointing, and the facilities did not match what was promised. The room experience was uncomfortable, and I did not feel satisfied or relaxed during my stay. I regret choosing……

“The staff was helpful but the room was horrible. The room and toilet were both untidy. The toilets had terrible dirt and was hard to use. My overall experience was terribly fuming.”
