Loved the property. Our first night we were treated to a fireworks show directly off the patio. Awesome!The property was a bit further from Highlands than we would have preferred but was worth the drive. We spent time at the Old Edward’s golf club and it was very convenient to it. The entire property was well maintained and very comfortable. There were only 3 of us but this home would be great for a large family gathering. You will not be disappointed.

This property was very clean and fresh feeling. Check in was a breeze, Yonder was quick to respond to a question upon arrival and obviously has an effective system of managing property. The kitchen is large, well equipped and can accommodate multiple cooks at one time. Bedrooms are nicely spaced for privacy (*bunk room open loft area). We enjoyed eating on the porch as well as relaxing before and after on the deck…. What a beautiful view! Parking is tight and turn around space can be difficult to manage. With traffic coming around sharp turns from both sides backing out could be dangerous. Overall a very comfortable stay. We would happily reserve this property another time.

Amazing View and Great Location

We stayed here for a girl’s weekend and the view is amazing from the back deck. Location is about 20 min to highlands and close to a few other cities as well. Comfortable beds with plenty of space!

Great long weekend in the mountains

This is a great location to see the attractions of western North Carolina. We were able to get in hiking, waterfalls, Cherokee, swimming at the lake and pizza in Cashiers. This would be a great place to stay for a larger group. Plenty of room to stretch out.

Perfect Mountain Escape!

This house was setup perfectly for our two families (10 guests total) and let us enjoy a wonderful week in the mountains. The house is spacious, generously stocked, clean and tidy. We could tell everything was very well thought out to provide guests an ideal, relaxing getaway. We would love to visit again!

Perfect Stay

The property was better than described. The kitchen was better equipped than my own house. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place felt like home. We ended up staying at the house more than we expected because we enjoyed it so much.

Amazing place

We had such a great time at Sunrise Kingdom! The space is well done, clean, spacious and the views are downright magical. I love that there are 4 fukl bathrooms and two large living areas for our big family to spread out and come together. We shall return!

Beautiful Views

The house is lovely with beautiful views, very comfortable. The big draw back is the driveway is very steep with limited visibility. Front garden could use some TLC.

Beautiful property

Home is very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The only down side was there is no place for our dogs to go outside. We had to walk them on the street with cars zooming around curves with low visibility. Felt very unsafe.

ZERO flexibility during hurricane helene

I have never had a worse experience with a VRBO property. Our group planned to stay here this past weekend. Unfortunately, hurricane Helene hit which through a wrench in the plans. Though the management group wouldn’t answer the phone or communicate with us, we still drove to the property. 2 hours into our drive, our GPS switched to a 6 hour trip and then finally showed no route to the house. Considering we had zero route to the house, I believe it at least warrants a conversation if not a full refund yet the management company refuses to respond. Our group was fully displaced with nowhere to stay after driving 4+ hours. Do not stay here or stay with any Yonder managed property unless you are willing to bet you will never need to ask a single question.

Sunrise Kingdom PERFECTION!

This was our 3rd trip to Glenville / Cullowhee / Cashiers and this property BY FAR exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate and felt brand new. The furniture, linens, mattresses & kitchen were all top notch. We have never arrived at any rental and been blown away like we were here. Kitchen was stocked with supplies for cooking /storage and cleaning which was a pleasant surprise. The laundry room was gigantic with a perfect table for folding laundry. The house also provided detergent even though we brought our own. The view and location are phenomenal. We were in downtown Cashiers in 12 minutes and The Highlands in 25. The location of the property is on the main road but we never had an issue with heavy traffic or vehicle sound. Noise makers in every room was also a nice touch. The ONLY issue we had was the drive way. You can not navigate it with a FWD vehicle. We did get stuck briefly on the gravel with spinning tires and having to gun it onto the main road and pray no one was coming around the corner fast. There is a little pull off on the main road (directly in front of the house) which we utilized the entire week for parking and never had an issue with that. The information book in the house provided helpful information for Asheville which wasn’t ideal but having been in the area before we were familiar with the area. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Glenville from Signal Marina. We will definitely return to this property and recommend to everyone!!!
