「They weren’t kidding about the fresh eggs! Hosts were very friendly and the location was great.」

「Quiet, excellent star viewing, variety of birds, restful. A train comes by about twice a day. Not far from Luray. Not great internet. House is cozy and comfortable」

「Great stay! Would return!」

「property was beautifully designed.lovely hot tub towels.but the lack of cleanliness throughout took away from our enjoyment of the aesthetics.upon arrival I had to clean the microwave and oven, both of which were filthy. we were asked to walk about the house without shoes, and were surprised to see how filthy our socks and feet were at that. one bathroom trash can had garbage in it when we arrived, and another bathroom trash can didn't have an insert at all, the trash just kind of falls through...

「Exactly as advertised. The place is perfect for a couple’s retreat, the natural surroundings are so peaceful and it’s a great home base to explore Sky Meadows. We had a lovely stay. The hosts provided a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and dark chocolate. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash and also let us check out late, which was very much appreciated. All in all, a great stay, highly recommend!」

「We had a wonderful time. The place was clean and we had enough beds for everyone. The highlight of our stay was being with family and petting the horses. Thank you!」

「We had a great stay. Were able to explore the local towns market and coffee shop and spent time hiking in shanadoah. Had no problems and would book again.」

「House very clean. Great hospitality.」

「Charming house with very nice touches and decor. Appreciated that coffee, sugar, olive oil, and spices were available for our use so we didn't have to purchase a lot of extraneous items for our short trip. The house was very comfortable and we were able to use their streaming services vs log in to our own. Fenced in yard was also a very nice and unique feature.」

「Lovely place with wonderful views. It was close to all attractions and made traveling to them easy. I would definately come back next time I am in the area.」

「Very nice little cottage. We were in town for a wedding. I’d stay there again if we were to come to the area.」

「Perfect cottage and scenic view! Very enjoyable and the host was very helpful. Our two little dogs enjoyed the screened in porch and it's the perfect spot to watch the sunrise with coffee or the sunset with wine. Thank you so much.」

「Unacceptable cleanliness for the price we paid. We left after 1 night. The bathroom had no towels, a filthy bath rug, and black grime inside the tub. A dirty wooden board was left across the bathtub. It appeared they had been working on the tub and left it in that condition; instead of coming to inspect it, the host gave a questionable explanation that it was a soap/shampoo holder. This made little sense, as the shower already had three built-in places for soap, one of which was absolutely...

「The location was absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed, and the house itself was just as lovely. Everything was clean, peaceful, and true to the photos. Unfortunately, the host experience wasn’t as positive. She lives next door and sent additional rules at the last minute, then seemed to scrutinize us throughout the stay. I’m 28, and she made a comment about my age that gave the impression she was uncomfortable with younger guests. It was disappointing because we...

「One of the best places I have lived in. Close to all the major travel spots and yet tucked away beautifully from the frenzies of a city. Really enjoyed staying there. Highly recommended. Very responsive host as well.」
