「A friend and I stayed three nights my only complaint is the sheets were rough and they didn’t stay in place 」

「Since my last visit, the resort has made some good improvements. They just was finishing a project to add a beach area. They also made other outdoor improvements that improved the appearance. I still don't understand the fees. Just increase the room rates. They should consider adding a small ferry boat to take people ( especially elderly) around the lake. Its a beautiful lake, but its very difficult for elderly people to utilize the paddle boats. 」

「The property was close to where I wanted to visit, which was New Germany State Park. The rooms were clean and the beds were fine. The staff was friendly. What I didn't like was that the flood lights they use for the parking lot were almost impossible to keep out of the room, even with the black out curtains and the paint scheme that the corporate people have chosen is drab and boring. Next time I will ask for a room in the back side of the facility. 」

「The only thing I could negatively critique is the carpets as we’re a bit elderly with slight musty odor. Almost like there had been smokers in the room at some earlier time. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. It needs replacing too. But otherwise,the bed was comfortable, tv worked ,bathroom was clean with everything necessary and the room was quiet. The location was convenient.」

「thought it was a bit pricey for the time of year. good location, not much traffic noise and since it was off season, not very many staying in the hotel. it could definitely use some upgrades, buckets in places to catch water leaks and it took FOREVER to get hot water running in the room, but the room was clean and comfortable.」
