Great Inn

We had a great experience at Casselman Inn. A beautiful historic building with plenty of space to sit, have a conversation with other, or just sit back in your room and relax. The restaurant was amazing. Homemade dinner options and a great complimentary breakfast or you can buy whatever you want, including the buffet. Room was comfortable and clean.

Everything was fine. Rustic but clean and in good repair. The only suggestions I have would be for decent shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. Breakfast sandwich was fresh and delicious. Good Coffee as well.

My stay was so peaceful and relaxing! The room was very clean and comfortable.the area is quiet and other guests seemed quiet and relaxed too. All of the staff at the Inn and restaurant were friendly and responsive. The meals were incredible!! Perfect location for hiking in PA and WV!

Extremely charming option for a friendly, clean and comfortable stay. It sure beat the more pricey options in Frostburg and Cumberland. My morning walk and delicious breakfast in the main building provided a wonderful history lesson about the National Road. Although we were only passing through we truly enjoyed our stay and took with us some delicious goodies from the in house bakery that is part of the restaurant.

Don't think twice just book it if your in the area

The hotel is excellent!! They have a restaurant with home cooked meals. We were there on a Friday night. They have a all you can eat buffet on Fridays that was one of the best I have ever eaten. The help was very friendly and our plate was picked up as fast as we emptied it. Our glass and coffee cup never went dry. The young lady that checked us in for our hotel stay was also taking payment for the restaurant bill. She was even cleaning tables when not busy at cash register. They have a all you can eat breakfast bar on Sat. morning. They give you a voucher for breakfast for spending the night. If you are smart you will take the breakfast roll to go and buy the buffet. Best place I have stayed or ate at for a long time!!!!

The history and charm of this 1840's era Inn, is well worth a visit. I was amazed at how affordable the meals were in their dining room. The staff gets my highest marks for courtasy and consideration. Make sure you come hungry. You won't be disappointed!!
