We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and the location couldn’t be better. Would highly recommend this place and definitely stay here again .

This was the best hotel we stayed in in Peru. Rooms were clean, the people were VERY helpful, it was quiet, and the hotel is very close to mose attractions in Cusco. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic centre. All staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.

The rooms are clean, staff very nice, friendly, polite and helpful. 24 /7 front desk assistance. Check in is at 12pm. We were leaving at 4am for a 7 day hike and they prepared a breakfast on the go for us. They hold our luggage when we were away. Food plentiful and delicious. I don’t have any negative things to say about this place. Great location! I would strongly recommend this hotel.

No AC and you can hear the road noise if you have a road side room which I did. Staff provided drinking water, coffee and tea daily. I didn’t eat breakfast. I loved the area as it was convenient to plenty of historical sites, restaurants, shopping, tours, massage, etc.

Great place to stay for the price, location, and quality. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and steps away from all the action of the plaza. Great place from which to jump off for adventures around Cusco. Only downside: it was easy to hear folks in the hallways coming and going.

We stayed at 2 similar priced hotels in Cusco and this was much better by far. Very clean and new room, had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was great. One street away from main plaza. Only small problem was the sink was a bit stinky

Very close to main city square and just down from Marriott so that tells you the neighborhood. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Held my suitcase while I was on my 5-day trek. Allowed me wait in lobby for 3-hours after check-out until my tour company was to pick me up.

This hotel is walking distance to a lot of places. I will note that they do not have elevators so do not book if you are unable to carry your bag up two or three flights of stairs. The walls are VERY thin; there was a birthday party happening on the third floor terrace at 10 PM on a Tuesday. We were heading to Rainbow Mountain at 3:30 AM the following morning and really needed to get sleep. We heard singing, laughing, and even music, past 11 PM. We asked the front desk and we were constantly told that it would only last 15-20 minutes. It did not. We were expecting more from this hotel and would have switched if we could. Keep this in mind when booking this hotel.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff!

We stayed at the Maytaq after our trip to MachuPicchu and I am so glad we picked it! The staff is amazing! The location is perfect so you can walk over to the Plaza de Armas where the town has celebrations all the time. Cusco in general felt very safe and welcoming and the area near the hotel was no exception. We stayed at the Maytaq July 9 and 10 (2023) which is winter/dry season and the hotel was warm and comfortable. The water pressure was great and the warm water felt amazing after a long day sight seeing. On our last day we checked out at 10am but our flight back to Lima was not until the afternoon so the hotel kept our luggage while we did last minute shopping. They also have a very nice and comfortable living room area where you can sit and check emails while waiting for your transportation to your tours. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will be staying there next time we visit Cusco.
