The house was wonderful for our group of five adults. Everything was comfortable and clean, and it was so convenient to have access to a garage for our motorcycles. Lori was great to work with and we would love to stay again!
This house was a great home base for us as we explored the area around Custer. It was close to everything and had plenty of room for us to make it our home away from home. The owner was very responsive and made our stay enjoyable.

Family get away
Great property and great location. A good fit for our family.
House had everything you could want, very clean. Good location for access to town. Centrally located for things to do in the black hills. Would definitely stay there again,
This place was everything we needed plus!! Had a great time celebrating my 62nd birthday and seeing the sites! In fact we loved it so much we're already planning for our next trip!!!
The house was perfect for a group wanting to be outdoors, hike and see the local sights but also wanting a comfortable place to land with the convenience of local restaurants. The living area and outdoor space were great for visiting with each other. Wicked Espresso had great coffee next door and you have to try the Purple Pie Place which is also next door. And when an early evening hailstorm hit when we were driving home we were so glad there was a garage to pull into.
We will definitely be back! The area was so beautiful!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property with all its amenities. The owner has the home stocked and supplied just like a home away from home It was so convenient to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial. Even though it is located in the town of Custer we saw deer in the yard multiple days. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends who are visiting the area.
The house was just as described in the listing! Cutely decorated, comfortable beds, clean and close to town for easy walking. Be aware that the downstairs living room can hear every footstep above, so the downstairs living room bed wasn’t great for kids taking a nap, etc. Fine during the night! Otherwise a great stay.
It was an overall pleasant place to stay, we really enjoyed the convenience of being near everything we needed , we were able to go right up the street for the baby’s milk , and even grab few clothing we forgot to bring . Majority of the household items for daily use were also provided and plentiful, the most important for us was the quick and efficient response we received from the host which made the stay comfortable .

Owner was very good about keeping in contact with us if we had issues. The gas tanks were out of gas and before the owner could come with another tank we bought another one since we wanted to grill--she did offer to pay us back for that. Enjoyed the roominess of the house with 4 bedrooms and another area that had a bed with a sitting area. Patio on the front and deck on the back was especially enjoyable for our meals. Unfortunately, for the owner, it looks like some past guests took some framed art home with them since a few rooms had holes in the walls where art had been. The last guests also left dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay and would reserve again!!
Location within walking distance to shops and restaurants and bars was a plus. Kitchen needed attention. Looked like someone hurriedly went thru kitchen just hitting the high spots. Dishwasher was full of dishes which we didnt know if washed and ran again. We had to clean counters and stove top before we could prepare food. Hope next renter finds it cleaner.

Excellent Stay, would stay again!!
Our family of 9 stayed at this home over Memorial Day. It suited our needs perfectly! It is centrally located, an easy drive to any of the many attractions in the area. The Pie Place is right in front of the home, which, by the way, we visited everyday, sometimes multiple times!! Lori was extremely great to work with! Her responses to emails initially was so quick and very helpful. The only negative was the communication completely stopped the day of arrival. I had a couple of questions as we were arriving, but no response. It all worked out, so in the end, no big deal. Would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a 4 bedroom 2 bath home, in a convenient location!

Sturgis motorcycle trip 2023
The house had plenty of rooms for 8 adults; (there was room for 10 adults). Loved we had the use of the 2 car garage for the motorcycles. Location was great if you are looking at something quiet and away from the riffraff of Sturgis or Buffalo Chip. We did have to wash the dishes/silverware since they seemed to be greasy and dirty. The countertop in the kitchen was dirty too but a quick cleanup fixed that. The refrigerator/freezer is getting old with ice buildup. The beds were comfy since they had foam toppers. The 2 air conditioners upstairs was fine for the upstairs area on hot days but the downstairs was hot and stuffy. Called the property manager was very understanding and attentive to our needs. She installed another portable air conditioner unit in the downstairs and brought several fans for our needs the next morning since the stores were closed that night (we appreciated that). The extra a/c unit worked and made our stay more comfortable. Overall the house met our needs for an enjoyable week of enjoying the black hills attractions.
