This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back!

Tayler is very warm and welcoming. The house is far enough outside of Custer to be quiet and calm for relaxing.

Custer Comfort

This was our first trip to South Dakota and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagles Landing Lodge. Deb was an excellent host and welcomed us on arrival. The lodge is centrally located to many tourist attractions and five minutes away from downtown Custer. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a western home with modern amenities!

Perfect place for a quiet vacation

Had a wonderful experience at Star Lodge. Deb was a wonderful host and the place was in fantastic shape. Loved the location and the room was perfect for someone who was just looking to pack up and go on a vacation. Will definitely be visiting again.

Quick Trip to the Black Hills

Deb and her girls were very sweet and attentive to my sister and me on our trip to Custer. The house is clean and the porch is a great place to have morning coffee and evening wine. Suites are a room in a large home, each with their own individual bathroom and shower - they were very clean. Just be prepared for the normal awareness of others staying in the house since it is a shared space.
