Perfect vacation home

Our family of 4 and 2 dogs had the best week at Sea Chimes. The views are spectacular that you don’t want to leave but there was so much to explore. Would definitely come back!

Amazing trip

We had a wonderful time in Maine! The house was exactly as advertised… only better! The views took our breath away and our daily beach walks were treasured family time. Gorgeous Bucolic Setting

My 2 week stay was perfect. The house is clean, well-equipped and you can't beat the scenery. Took many short trips to hike with my dogs at Quoddy Head Lighthouse, Roque Bluffs, Beals Island and Cutler Preserve. At the property I watched mama deer and her fawn, Mr & Mrs Turkey with their 5 babies; a rare red raccoon at Cobscook Bay. Eating was fantastic, a favorite spot was Helen's in Machias for lobster rolls and pie. The house remained comfortable even though the last 2 days saw record heat for Maine.

Magical Cutler Maine

Still dreaming of our lovely family getaway at the gorgeous, immaculate Sea Chimes cabin. Super comfy accommodations, astounding views of Holmes Bay from the wrap around deck, from the great room and master loft bedroom. Heaven! Incredible sunsets and cozy nights by the fire. This house really has it all. We enjoyed lots of day trips to Eastport, Lubec (our fave) and Campobello Island. Scenic hikes around Quoddy. We look forward to returning to this mystical corner of Maine again! Our big old (senior)) hound dog loved the daily romps down the private path to the bay/beach…it just really feels miles away from it all - it’s a very special place.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Cutler. It was very quiet and the sunsets were amazing. Beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the extra room and extra bathroom. Lots of pots and pans to cook in kitchen and extras like spices were very much appreciated. The only problem we had was contacting property manager with questions. She seemed to have trouble connecting with my phone to return calls but I was able to leave her messages on her phone. Other than that we really appreciate the owners allowing us to rebook this year due to Hurricane Lee last year. We recommend this cabin for anyone who wants quiet and solitude. The cabin is easy to find and about 15-20 min from Hannafords where lobsters are plenty and they steam them for free.

Beautiful cabin on the Bay! What a great place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. The property was fantastic. The private beach was great. We spent hours beach combing and star gazing at night. We will definitely be back. Clean rooms and a great host to work with!

The house was perfect. The location was perfect. Overall the weather was pretty good for mid October. Got lobster on two different occasions from a local fisherman and it was fantastic. The only complaint we had was the local property manager was not very responsive. Other than that this property is a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful, amazing almost 360* Holmes Bay views. Cozy cabin with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms and dog friendly! Our pups loved the rolling landscape and path down to the water! We visited many towns along the coast and up north. Scenic and peaceful and everything we were hoping for! Pure joy!!!

Lovely home surrounded by meadow with fantastic views of the bay. There are things to do close by, especially hiking with a nearby coastal trail that runs over 5 miles. Or just sit and watch the bay - bald eagles, osprey, all kinds of shorebirds; we even saw seals hunting walking the shore near sunset. Cannot say enough.

Another Great Oceanfront Vacation!

Stayed here last year and loved it so much we stayed again. We were not disappointed! Beautiful location and a great home. Plenty of room for the three couples who went. We all enjoyed the local fresh seafood and relaxing in the large yard playing games and enjoying a campfire. The owners are great and had everthing there we needed. Highly recomend this property.

Great relaxing stay

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week! The location was beautiful and serene, and the views were amazing. The house was spacious, very clean, and met all of our needs. When at the house we spent the majority of our time on the deck and shared the yard with deer, turkeys, and at least ten babies who were fun to watch. We hiked nearby and took day trips to Lubec, Campobello Island, and St. Andrews NB, all short drives away. It truly was the perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay again!
