The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling. The cycling route through the Albtal from St. Blasien to Albbruck is especially popular. The postal address for the location is 79837 Oberkutterau. The sports facilities listed under "Sports opportunities on site" can be reached from the accommodation in about 15 to 20 minutes by car. Indoor swimming pools are located in Görwihl (approx. 20 min), Revitalbad Menzenschwand (approx. 15 min); outdoor pools in Todtmoos (approx. 20 min), Höchenschwand (approx. 10 min), Schluchsee (approx. 15 min), and Badeparadies Titisee (approx. 30 min).
