“I had to leave the place due to not having water and WiFi. When the water was available, I had to wash using a bucket of warm water. The staff tried their best but the few people working were tired and ill. The walk up of three flights of stairs was not easy with luggage. Because of a power surge, my charger was ruined. This place is poorly managed but could be much better managed with right person and proper investment of money and experience. I lost 7 nights there. I don’t recommend this……

“Amazing view!”

“We had an amazing stay at this hotel from the moment that we arrived the staff went out of their way to find ways to help us to enjoy our stay and particularly Aliou and Babou (excuse the spelling). I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dakar, but for a longer stay e.g. 4 days+ our room was a bit tight for 3 people. Overall a great experience”

“good experience with nice service. ”

“The hotel exterior was old, there were dead bugs all over the.place, the WiFi didn't work everywhere, no hot water in the morning, my bathroom (Rm 652) floods if you turn on the shower for more than 2 minutes, the in-room intercom did not work. Imaging paying $268 for a hotel room for one night, you get asked to pay for breakfast on checknout and the breakfast spread was nothing to be excited about for extra $25 The only upside about the hotel are the staff who seemed friendly and handicapped……

“The place was very well kept and the staff was very helpful in our needs.”

“Its nice overall that I keep extending. Everything is great :)”

“Thank you”

“Overall, Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E made for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would recommend it, particularly for solo travelers. The neighborhood felt safe and navigable, which as a solo traveler matters more than anything else. The room was a highlight, super spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the city from above. Waking up to that view every morning was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming throughout my stay.……
