Great staff - always helpful and smiling. They go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I didn’t get to visit the gym or bar to comment. It can be a little noisy at the corridor area when you’re in the room and doors opening and closing can be quite startling but not enough to wake you.

The breakfast was very good, if you wanted hot addition to breakfast you would have to ask or you would not be told. Reception staff generally friendly and helpful. Other staff sometimes appeared to have attitude. The gym is not well equiped at all, 5 pieces of equipment only. The food from the bar was not really good. So avoided it in the end. Surrounding area was horrible not many eating places or places to see or explore, the area is very run down. Also was shocked that i had to pay additional tax on the hotel when i got there.

This hotel is a good no-frills place to stay in Dakar. It is a bit out of the way of most tourist spots, but easy to get taxis (heetch) to get to anywhere. The room was spacious with plenty of room to move around even with 3 people sharing. It is located on a very busy street, though, and the traffic noise can be loud but generally quiet enough overnight to be able to get sleep. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and transfers to/from the airport are offered for a reasonable fee which can be added to your hotel bill. The breakfast is good with many options but it wasn't always refilled. The only thing is the coffee is instant, not brewed. The restaurant on the top floor offers many choices with reasonable prices and there is a restaurant next door for fast food options that is tasty and inexpensive. We spent 3 nights and were very happy with this hotel.

Great Accommodations in Dakar

We arrived about 8hrs later than planned due to over booking, however the staff was there to help us download the bags and help us to our rooms quickly. A light breakfast was provided in the morning and the staff on the 6th floor were so accommodating, I have a 2yr old that slept thru breakfast so I was collecting breakfast for him. Might I say the croissants were amazing, I ended getting up for breakfast every morning to eat 2 of them. We ventured up to the 7th floor and again the staff was so nice. Our rooms were clean, the ac was great and the beds were comfy. Excellent choice of hotels
