When I called the front desk to let them know I would be one day late the guy who answered was very rude. He kept saying I need to contact Expedia to change my itinerary, I kept repeating I don’t want to change it I was just letting them know I still need the room but I would be one day late. When I showed up they gave my room to someone else. The lady told me I should have notified them I’d be a day late so they could have saved my room. The rooms themselves are mediocre at best. Barely better than a motel 6. The lobby is nice though and smelled nice. It’s like they spent all their money on the lobby and didn’t have enough leftover to spend on the rooms. The pillows are flat and lumpy. Carpet is brown and greasy. Noise from the hallway is loud in the rooms. They give you two complimentary waters but it’s the cheapest water you can buy. Rooms are WAY overpriced. At times the water to the building was off and they didn’t offer anything in return for the inconvenience. They just left a note that if you needed to use the bathroom there was one in the lobby which for me was 8 floors down. The cherry on the turd sundae was a used discarded bandaid on the floor that remained there after two cleanings from housekeeping. Also the area is terrible. Two blocks any direction there’s dilapidated houses. It’s like they decided to build in the middle of a post apocalyptic wasteland. Three nights costs me almost $1000 for a terrible experience. I feel robbed.
