Transitional neighborhood, outlets & tv's didn't work, owner unresponsive through vrbo mesaging

Overall the stay was a good value, house was quaint. The bedroom setup with bathrooms was awkward- the first floor "bedroom" had clear glass door and no closet, no shower on the first floor. The upstairs outlets didn't work other than 1 bedroom making it difficult for all the women to get ready. The king bedroom's bed was super noisy and the upstairs bedroom tv's didn't work. I messaged the host the first day of the stay and those never were resolved. Also no dishwasher tabs for the dishwasher. The house next door had an eviction the day after we arrived- a pile of belongings was out front, an SUV parked in the driveway blocking our way back in, the constable showed up to escort them out. Also there are multiple new homes going up across the street if construction noise is a bother. The area seemed ok one way and unsafe the other way.

Neighborhood

House was very nice. There were 13 ladies in our group and we were a little concerned about the neighborhood. We had people from Dallas that told us to be careful. We were expecting accommodations to sleep 16. We had 13 or we would have been very inconvenienced. They did bring us a blow up mattress. The house only sleeps 14 and there is no shower downstairs.

Disappointed

The house was in a community that did not look other houses. It seems as if they are trying to build/renovate houses for that neighborhood. The beige rug in the common area was dirty so much that we had to roll off the floor, and the tan sofas had stains (one looked like a juice stain). The 2nd floor bathroom’s shower liner had black spots on it, and the towels provided had makeup stains on them. The internet would connect and disconnect almost immediately, and when I reached out to the host, it took several hours for a response. Other than that, the property was decent and a space for family to meet and enjoy one another.

Great property!

I booked this property for a group birthday celebration, and we had a great time! The house was clean and as portrayed in the photos. The neighborhood is not fully portrayed in the photos, but the location itself was convenient and close to all of our activities and reservations. The hosts were flexible and communicative, and even allowed us to check in a bit early to decorate the house! Would recommend!

Perfect for family stay

The home was very clean and at a perfect temperature upon entrance. Description was true to the listing and served our purpose for a family gathering. Host was very clear with expectations for guests and directions were easy to follow. Our family was very impressed by the home and complemented the homes features. Definitely would recommend this listing.

Had a great stay

We enjoyed our time at the home. Very clean & nicely decorated. Spacious enough for large groups. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling the dallas area! Communication was also great during, before & after our stay.
