I rate comfort the lowest, because pillows are really uncomfortable. I woke up from a night's sleep, a little stiff. My whole neck is hurting. A lot of pain. That's what I'm most angry about. There's no fluffy pillow to use. The rooms are small, and the first-floor lobby is small and modest. It's different from what the hotel itself showed. Overall a terrible check-in experience.

The shower was broken in the hotel. The door lock wasn't functional and luckily I checked it before leaving. Lights were super bright at night coming in through the door security holes, which were not covered. I checked out after 1 night and went to a different hotel. The hotel then charged me for the original two nights and also charged me for the single night. It still has not been resolved. I will never stay at a Sandman property.

Staff at front of house was very cordial and helpful, patiently they answered questions and were very present. A positive experience, rooms were nice as well as everything was in operating condition
