Der Inhaber der Cottages betreibt ein megaleckeres Restaurant im Ort, beste Fisch-/Vegetarische Suppe. Die Cottages sind spartanisch mit Toilette ausgestattet, davor ist ein Pool (42Grad Tag und Nacht) und eine kleine Fasssauna, mega gemütlich. Hatten sogar das Glück Nordlichter zu sehen. Immer wieder gerne dahin :-)

Die 3 Hütten von Bjarni bestechen vor allem durch den Hot-Pot und die Sauna. Bei 8° Grad Außentemperatur im 43° Grad warmen Thermalwasser zu sitzen und auf die frisch eingeschneiten Berge ringsum zu schauen, hat schon was. Die Hütten sind klein und mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Der Ort eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt zum Whale-Watching.

Just terrific!. The owners were super. Friendly. Communication was on spot. Great view. Very cozy. Bathroom was a little tight but for a couple ,perfect. Very nice outdoor hottub . Sauna. A shower is available in the big cottage. Hot,with pressure. Great views of the mountains. A skice of Icelandic heaven in Dalvik. A ten minute walk from the ferry.

The Vegamot cottages are a little slice of heaven. I loved the hot tub and sauna and the cabin was in great condition. There is a toilet in the cabin. The cabin does not have a shower, but the outdoor shower was really lovely. Bjarni and his family were super welcoming, and I enjoyed talking with them. The fish soup at their cafe was delicious. I am already planning a trip to come back! This was a really nice way to get to experience Dalvik.

This is a beautiful, rustic cottage. A great little sauna and hot tub on site. Perfect for a single wanderer or an adventurous couple who aren’t afraid of a warm, outdoor shower! Bamji the proprietor is wonderful and knows everyone in town! Highly recommended for outdoor adventurers!

It was the nicest and coziest cottage, I have ever stayed. Luckily, I got an upgrade to the farmhouse and you have everything you need: soft nice bed, kitchen, sauna, warm pool and wifi. It was really nice to use sauna and relax in the warm pool outdoor after a long driving. The owner was really nice, friendly, helpful and his English is excellent. I do really recommend this place!

Disappointing

The hotels.com description has clearly written: “private bathroom”, instead, we had a shared shower and a private toilet. Bathroom means that a shower/bathtub is contained. The check in was not so comfy. The room was kinda clean but the shower in the other cottage was not so clean. Hot tub was not warm enough and even we increased to the max after calling the owner to tell us how to, it was still not warm enough. Sauna didn’t have light. The photos showing the cottages are misinformation as they actually are one breath away from the highway and not in the nature as showing in the photos. Nice photos but tricky. Wouldn’t recommend.

Posto all'inizio della cittadina il cottage è molto carino nel giardino di questa struttura c'e una vasca d'acqua calda e una sauna. All' interno della casetta c'è solo il wc e un lavandino oltre a una piccola cucina con il frigorifero utensili vari letto e un tavolo con le sedie. Per la doccia devi andare in una piscina del posto, il proprietario della casa ti da un pass per entrare a fare la doccia.Per una toccata e fuga va più che bene.

Little comfortable cottage

The owners were great. They also run the little cafe in town. Great service. Comfortable room. Went to watch whales and we're not disappointed in our two night stay in Dalvik.
