Comfortable and peaceful. Nice views of the lake from both front and back porches. The open floor plan was bright and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this wonderful home for a simple stay or vacation.

We was looking for a place to stay on the lake & found this house that was newly listed, everything you could want is included with the house, nice dock with a slightly sloping yard & quiet area which is what we look for. We will definitely return as we go to Douglas a few times a year.

This was a great location and a beautiful home on the lake…we enjoyed sitting on the front porch where we could see the sunset and the sunrise over the lake…we watched the squirrels in the big tree out front run and play with each other…very entertaining! We enjoyed a cookout with our family on the beautiful back deck…the house had everything one could possibly need for a wonderful trip…very clean, decorated as a lake house needs to be and a very nice kitchen to get ready for our family meal together…comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms…we had a couple of questions one day and Vacasa was quick to respond and was very helpful with what we needed to know…thanks to Kyle for helping us find the Tennessee football game, that we sure didn’t want to miss, on tv…we highly recommend this host and this rental for a getaway anytime…you will not be disappointed! 😊

Lake time retreat was the perfect stay. We wanted a quick getaway for Labor Day Weekend with enough space for two families. The home has a split floor plan allowing for privacy in the master suite area. The garage has been converted into a game room with darts, ping pong table, and card table. Stunning views of the lake and mountains make the front porch a great place for a cup of coffee in the morning or winding down with wine in the evening. The spacious back porch has ample seating. We ate every meal on the back deck and loved watching boats and jet skis go by. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and a grocery store (Food City) was less than 15 minutes away for some last minute ingredients we forgot to bring. Every detail has been carefully maintained in this home. My husband is already planning our next stay. You won’t regret booking!
