Marsh tranquillity

Wonderful spatial property with exceptional views from the large screened porch. Enjoyed eating within the graciously stocked kitchen as well as at fine seafood restaurants nearby. Our ramblings were historical, scenic, and fulfilling. Home base was exceptional.

Marsh house does not disappoint

We loved everything about this gem of a property: the huge porch where we watched amazing sunrises, ate dinner, and relaxed on; the comfortable mattress in the master bedroom; great WiFi; fully stocked kitchen; and the hot tub to relax and count the stars after a full day! Our dog got lots of good sniffs during his walks on the property and we had little thrills seeing the two resident alligators in the pond near the house! Highly recommend this place for a tranquil and peaceful escape.

Very serene and relaxing stay

This was a very secluded, private place to stay at. There was plenty of space and the screened porch was amazing to just sit and watch the marsh. We had a couple of issues but the owner was pretty responsive. I will definitely be back to stay here again.

Pure Peace

The views are gorgeous. Even in the rain. The porch is the perfect place for a cup of coffee or a nap. The absolute sense of peace that we left with is priceless.

We Love the Marsh

As many others have stated, the view off the back screen porch is awesome! We also enjoyed watching the egrets and roseate spoonbills off in the marsh. The house was wonderful and the beautiful art throughout made us feel like we were in an art museum. Our hosts were fabulous greeting us when we arrived and providing lights when the power went out for a couple of hours (after effects of Hurricane Helene). We will definitely be back again to stay at this great location.

Great place in the salt marsh

Very roomy get away in the Georgia salt marsh. The house was extremely well equipped. The views were spectacular with wood storks, spoonbills, egrets and herons the nearest neighbors.

Relaxing Bliss

This property was a great place to decompress from a really intense conference. Quiet and beautiful with a great host! Easy to communicate with and the property was just as advertised. I'm already looking at my calendar to figure out when I can go back!

Marvelous Property overlooking the Marsh

Want a relaxing long weekend with a great location and great seafood, Marshbreeze is the place to go. Weather was perfect for sitting on the screen porch or in the hot tub and bird watching--we even saw a flamingo fly by. Our son is a history buff, so we visited multiple historical sites dating back to the 1700s. All the beds were very comfortable and Don and Susan are great hosts. We will plan to visit again!

Quiet and peaceful

This property is amazing for those who want to escape hustle and bustle and just enjoy a comfortable quiet setting. The huge screen porch is fabulous and they also have a large hot tub on the open deck. Would definitely stay again but depending on time of year bring your bug spray when walking outside. Saw egrets, herons, deer, and even an alligator. House was super comfortable and everything you need is already there waiting for you

Incredibly Peaceful

This property exceeded my expectations from the moment I stepped inside. The house is large, spacious, and clean, especially considering it stands directly on the marsh. The view is indescribable, and so peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. There’s plenty of towels, toilet paper, and extra pillows. Bed and pillows are comfy. Don has superb hosting skills. He quickly greeted us at arrival, and checked up throughout our stay. He is eager to assist with kayaking, bike routes, and just all around friendly. The property is soul soothing.

Hidden treasure

We had a wonderful stay here last March, just our style.surrounded by the trees full of the morning songs from the birds. The marsh was a restful sight all day especially in the evening light. The house was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated thru out with interesting art and all our needs met for sure in kitchen . Lovely, interesting owners,there if you need them.we would return for sure .

This was our second visit to Marshbreeze. It is a well-stocked comfortable home. The hosts are readily accessible and helpful. The creeped in porch affords incredible marsh views. Unfortunately, I was sick for the entire visit, but, as my husband said, “At least it’s a great place to be sick,” i’m Looking forward to a return visit so I can more fully enjoy the marshes and the wonderful seafood in the area.

Beautiful and relaxing stay

We absolutely loved our time at this house. The home was much larger than we were expecting and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could’ve needed. The ramp to the house made it easy to unpack the car (there was even a cart to load all of our luggage in one trip) and was also great for our elderly dog. The best part were the views! We lived on the back porch watching the beautiful sunrises over the water and enjoying the breeze throughout the day. We didn’t want to leave but are looking forward to returning again soon!

Perfect place to escape for a week

Marshbreeze was everything we were looking for in a coastal getaway. This was our first time exploring the Georgia coast and it was a terrific location. Don and Susan were perfect hosts and have a fully stocked and comfy home. Spending family time with meals on the screened porch will not be forgotten. What a relaxing setting to just watch the ebb and flow of the tide and listen to the many noises of the marsh. Highly recommend visiting Marshbreeze. Thanks! Mike & Gabi

Beautiful house on the marsh

The perfect rental for our family reunion. Stunning views of the marsh and distant islands from the screened-in porch. This beautifully designed, clean, and well-equipped house completely lives up to its online description, and provides a comfortable home base for relaxation and exploration of the southern Georgia coast. We loved using the bikes, and would have used the canoe and kayaks if we'd had a longer visit. The owners were helpful and generous in accommodating our specific needs. We feel very fortunate to have stayed at Marshbreeze!

A Lovely Piece of Paradise!

Great home with all the amenities! I counted 14 bikes, two kayaks, and a canoe, and there’s probably more that I didn’t see. Beautiful view of the marsh from the huge, screened back porch, very comfortable furniture, ice cold air conditioning, wonderful Southern hospitality, and lots of room to walk your dogs! It’s a very dog friendly home and I loved staying there! So peaceful! Thank you for everything… I’ll be back!

Nice Spacious Older Home

Pretty views and very spacious for a big family. Property is a bit dated. Beds need new pillows and bedspreads. Hot water is on for a very short period, long enough for a quick shower. Kitchen is fully equipped. Lots of steps entering and exiting, just FYI. Kids enjoyed fishing and caught a few. Overall a nice weekend.

Outstanding stay!

What a great place for a family vacation! Very secluded beautiful views of the marsh! We kayaked and canoed just be mindful of the quick tide changes in this area. The ferry trip to Sapelo is well worth it! This is our second trip to this area. There is so much to do it's hard to fit all to see in one trip. The house is spacious and has all you need. The back porch is simply amazing! Star gazing is plentiful. Don is great to deal with! We will be back because we love the Golden Isles of Georgia!
