Great location. Clean rooms, a little tired in places but you won’t spent much time in the room anyway with the options for outdoor activities and food and drink options on the door step. Excellent AC as well which is a must on a hot day in Darwin!

We arrived after picking my husband up from hospital He had a knee replacement We waited at reception while one male staff decided he would tell all the delights of Darwin. Other staff member was surley and took a long time to provide us with our room Room was clean but we found out at 2200 no towels or very little teabags Bath is unsafe for anyone to climb in. Breakfast was good yes everyone arrived at once and dining room was busy Food was good and staff were helpful.

The reviews that I saw about this hotel Were very positive but they did not match my experience I chose this hotel for the waterfront location which is good although it has the feel of a public park. The food was very good although the staff in there (some Of them) were poor - my friend and i were asked/told to move when breakfast was only just finished (10am) because they needed to set up for lunch - it was as if they were under time pressure, this was awkward as my friend had a laptop and needed a table - the other tables had only low coffee tables and were in the (hot) sun and so not suitable When I mentioned this to the two people on reception one of them said ‘we are actually in the middle of something’! Otherwise the room grubby - stains on curtains and on desk chair, basin cracked Not all bad though, one (Irish female) receptionist very helpful

The best thing about the Vibe Darwin Waterfront is the location and the staff. Otherwise, the hotel is tired and uncomfortable. Air conditioning noisy and very hard to set a comfortable temperature - generally too cold. Shower fitting over bath unstable and shower head sprays water on floor making for slippery floor safety hazard. Curtains overlooking the carpark well-worn and dirty. Readin chair next to bed very hard and uncomfortable.
