Everything you have at home.

This was the perfect home to stay in. It came fully loaded with all the comforts of home, all we had to do was stock the refrigerator. Wonderfully cozy and only steps from water. We loved every minute of our stay.

Everything you need.

We had the best time during our stay. Having the water in the backyard was so nice and relaxing. We did have an issue with the air conditioner going out, which we know happens, but we wish it would’ve been handled differently. However, we didn’t let it ruin our vacation & everything else went smoothly.

Fabulous design and location for large family

We loved the breathtaking views, the layout of the house, and all of the amenities. All twelve of our family members (and the two dogs) agreed that we definitely want to stay here again! Vacasa staff was so nice to work with (responded to my texts immediately). Take note that the current pictures of house and description of construction next door is outdated as of July 2025. Nothing about this stay disappointed me! Bring some crabbing nets. The hermit crabs were all along the shore!

Nice Place

One of the best places to stay for groups!

We had nine people in this house for a week. It was roomy and relaxing. There were several extra touches that made it perfect for us, such as the seating area under the house, the kayaks, the hammocks, the outdoor shower, the large kitchen, and the wrap around deck. We loved our stay!

Just want we were looking for!

I didn’t want to leave!!

We loved it so much we added on an extra day! House was great! Very dog friendly! This sweet little house is my family’s favorite. The porch was great for the kids. Everything was as expected but there are neighbors closer now than in the first picture. Everyone was super sweet and very accommodating during Hurricane Francine. We will be using Vacasa again! Thank you!

Birthday celebration

We had a girls trip to celebrate my 92nd birthday. The house was great, spectacular view. All amenities we could ask for. The kitchen faucet would benefit from an aerator since it makes quite a splash. One thing would have made it better: a dumb waiter to help haul up gear. As a whole it was delightful for all of us.

The home was spotless and had a very well stocked kitchen. I always travel with pots and pans that I use and it was unnecessary here. The wooden run to the gazebo made it very convenient for transporting ice chests, beach items, etc.. The beach was perfect, nearly private. My family will return to this home in the future!

Paradise found

My family of 7 stayed in this beautiful, well equipped house for a week. Watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fished from the shore and floated in the water. Maintenance issues were addressed quickly. Sitting on the deck in the breeze was wonderful as there is usually a breeze coming from the gulf or the sound side. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Dauphin island!

Relaxed location with lots of space

My family of six enjoyed staying here very much. There was lots of space, a fully stocked kitchen, and very easy access to the beach via the private boardwalk. We cooked every meal here without needing to eat out, which is also a plus with small children. This is also a great location for children as they can spread out on the beach without having to worry about a crowded beachfront. Also because this beach is bayside on the island, the waters are calmer than on the gulf side. We saw lots of different wildlife while out at the beach too, including dolphins, something you don’t get at busier beaches. The rental was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the shade of the gazebo by the beach and the hammocks. It was also nice being able to go back and forth from the beach to the rental so easily, especially with an infant who needed frequent breaks. We would gladly stay here again.

Great beach!

Our family enjoyed the island and the beach. The pictures of the home are definitely outdated as there is a newly built homes and construction on each side now. We ran into some issues with the cleanliness of home. Moldy washing machine which cannot be used, half of deck is falling off home and sagging floors in the home also. We very much enjoyed the outside of this home and hope it will get some much needed cleaning and updates before next guest!

Lovely House Great location

Lovely home great location. What an amazing collection the pillows. Slightly disappointed with performance of washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Heads up, one kayak leaks. We really appreciated the two kayaks. Please replace handle on the foot washer. Really love the design of the foot washer. Just wish it was not Rusty and sharp. Two of the six people using it got cut. Overall had a really delightful stay. Would rent again.

The house

The house was amazing it has everything you need from cookware to towels. The issue is with the cleanliness, it looks clean but the towels smelled like a wet dog makeup on the sheets chip bags under the bed stickers left on the trim above the glass doors pots n pans had stains & burnt leftovers on them. Someone needs to check behind house cleaning to see what they’re actually doing.

Beautiful Spacious Home

This property was a perfect spot for our group of 8 on a girls getaway. Very affordable and clean. None of us had been to Dauphin Island before so we were excited to try a new location together. We were not impressed with the island itself. It felt a bit lacking of amenities such as adequate AC, nice environments for dining and peaceful outdoor relaxing. We did travel here in the first week of Sept and found out this time of year is known for sand flies. Well they decided to visit the same time and were there with a vengeance. We couldn’t relax on the beach at all! It was miserable being bitten by flies or mosquitoes. It would have been nice to have been given a heads up. The locals seem to know but Vacasa didn’t mention it. They also failed to inform me accurately about the provision of beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys even though they were asked directly. It would have helped us a lot on packing to have known the truth of what to expect regarding these larger items. The property was very warm too!! The thermostat was set to 68 and never got there. It stayed around 78 degrees in the house from 10a-10p. And the restaurants weren’t any better on the island. It was miserable sweating so much. Box fans and 2 cots were provided but I didn’t see that mentioned in the listing. We chose to take the ferry to Gulf Shores one day in search for biting-bug free beaches and good food and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely worth the trip and extra money to just stay there or Orange Beach area instead. We won’t be returning to this area but it was nice to say we’ve been there I guess. Islanders and Skinners are the place to eat. Waves was a fun atmosphere but food was, meh. Very friendly staff in both places.

Wonderful house!

The layout is perfect for our annual family beach getaway! The beach access right out the back is great as well as the large table for family dinners and game nights. This is a wonderful house and we have stayed here several times.

Great vacation

The house is wonderful. Enjoyed the views on the bay side. Beautiful sunsets every day. The house is well equipped and an easy location to get to. Enjoyed several local restaurants. Definitely want to come back.
