This was the perfect rental for two couples and three dogs. The views of both sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Lots of room in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen met all our needs. Our only complaint is that the dryer does not work, and we only realized it after we had a load of wet clothes. Kind of a pain when you packed clothes with the expectation of being able to do laundry. But otherwise, it was a great week away, and we would love to return.

The house was amazing. The beach was so close to the house! It is a perfect house for dogs. We brought our 3 fur babies and they had a blast! The only bad thing about the week was lack of good restaurants on the island. We'll cook next time. Best vacation in a long time. We've already booked again for next year!

Great vacation home! We really enjoyed our experience and vacation time! House was super clean! Lots of extra bath towels and the kitchen had all the items we needed! There were floats and beach chairs to use. We did have to claim our beach spot early in the morning due to property being close to middle beach. That was not a problem at all and we will vacation here again! Very relaxing vibe! Thanks for a great stay!

This is a beautiful location with lots of potential but needs some love! TVs unplugged, light bulbs out, water leak damage, very hard to operate entry lock, sheets that don’t fit the beds, dirty dishes in cabinets, only 1 bar of soap provided, food crumbs and sand on the floor……

Overall would stay again, just small maintenance issues. Dryer needs service, remotes need fresh batteries. Porch gate needs repair.

Enjoyed our first visit.

Good location and position on the beach, literally steps away from the Gulf. House and kitchen is well equipped and the online portal pics accurately portray the unit. Two issues, the code to the front door did not work correctly and the left side of the French Door facing the beach would not lock. Still we had a good vacation.

This beach house is everything you’d need for an awesome vacation! Great partially shaded deck in back to hang out and watch the water and wildlife. Quiet safe residential area

Beautiful

This property was very well maintained. Plenty of blankets and dishware. Caelin was our property manager and very very helpful. Hint: When you put in the door code and it doesnt work do it twice as fast The beach was at the end of the steps and the gulf was beautiful. The island was very nice and had many hidden gems.

Relaxing vacation

Great ocean front house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but bring seasoning and spices. Comfortable beds, loved the shaded deck and island had more restaurants than we thought. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation this is a great house for it.

Good experience

Nice clean and suited are family situation perfectly. Everything was as stated on the listing. Helpful hint: if you have an issue with the dryer not drying you just need to pull the dryer out about six to eight inches so the vent can breath.

Family Trip!

We had a great time with plenty of room for our family just steps from the beach!! The house is accurately depicted in description and could definitely use some updates but is clean and comfy (except for couch). Make sure you take your own beach chairs, beach towels, and everyday paper products. There is enough supplies to get you started. Bathrooms are small with little storage. The only downside is the house is not handicap accessible. House is located beside public beach access, but we put our chairs out every morning so this wasn’t an issue for us. We loved it here. Perfect location! I would recommended ordering from Skinners and eating at Catalina’s in Bayou La Batre!

Not the best stay

Arrival day we pull up to the unit and get stuck in about 8 inches deep of sand had to call tow truck to get us out. No signs or markings saying don't pull into driveway. Manager was not helpful in this matter and said it was our fault and they wouldn't help fix the issue. Second shower wouldn't drain well and while you took a shower water would be around your ankles and would take about 3 minutes to drain after turning off the water. Did contact a manager with vacasa that was really helpful and she got us a refund for the tow bill after running by her manager. The property manager at the location of the unit was not helpful and I spoke to her assistant and she told me the sand was supposed to have been removed before our arrival but it didn't get done. Reason we got stuck parking in front of our unit. Overall we were disappointed into the local office manager and the way she handled our situation because of there fault.
