This house was all it was listed as on the VACASA webpage. The furniture was in very good shape, the beds comfy, and lots of bathrooms to share with a large group. Part of the gulf view is blocked by another house, but it also sits back far enough so that our steps weren’t underwater when the tide came in. Storms kept us inside half of our stay but would love to return sometime.

The house was laid out very well with plenty of room for our large family. It was stocked well with dishes, pots and pans and right on the beach. There were a couple of minor issues that were inconsequential but property management attended to them promptly. Would definitely rent this house again. We had a great time!

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of this property, especially with it so easy to track sand in to the house. The views were amazing and the beds were soft. Nice big TV and comfortable couch. Exceeded our expectations.

The house was very spacious, including the area in front of house with all the sand, my grand kids were able to play several games of football. There were plenty of area space in every room. The kitchen was great, plenty of cookware and utensils, nice setup.

Loved the setup of the home, but you are closely surrounded by other homes with only a small of beach space to setup. Played corn hole under the home and sprayed insect repellent on, but everyone was covered in mosquito bites the next morning. Lots of clumps of concrete to trip over and break a toe or foot. But, if you don’t mind not having any privacy and having to keep drapes closed because of all the neighbors, this is the place for you.

Beautifully decorated beach house just steps from the water. The location was perfect and quiet. We were told there would be construction on the house in front of us, but we only saw one contractor for a few hours on one day. The beach was nice with tons of big shells! We were not thrilled with the trash dumpster, front loader and porta-potty parked next to our deck steps and tried to make sure all pictures were aimed away from that eye-sore. We were glad we had a dedicated driveway for parking because Treasure Court was crowded with six cars from two other beach homes. Not sure where the new house will park, but the contractor drove through our beach area and parked right in the middle of our beach. Overall, we loved the house and hope they don’t build another house in front of this one because the view is spectacular!

The house was just like the photos! Beautiful! We had a group of 6 ranging from 32 to 78. Plenty of room to stretch out. Hot tub was clean as was the house! The view and the sound of the crashing waves was amazing. I am glad we knew about the house being built in front of it or it would have been disappointing. Sunday morning they started a lift truck at 7 am and they were noisy but after that they came and went and were relatively quiet. Overall, we would highly recommend! Buy groceries at Wynn Dixie in Theodore and liquor across the street from there before going to the house. You will also need more tp and paper towels. Remember, everything you bring in and out is up and down a lot of stairs and through the sand! 😊 Stay at this place!

House was very nice and location was good. Had all the minimal basics - no extras. Linens were not good quality and furniture wasn't very comfortable. The biggest complaint was the fact that nothing was mentioned at time of booking that the property owner was building another house partially in front of this house. It was mentioned when the balance was due and it was too late to get a full refund. The construction debris was. not only an eye soar, but a danger zone. there were nails and pieces of construction debris throughout the beach area in front of the house we rented. I'm sure it'll be cleared up when it's completed, but we weren't happy about it.

10 days before our trip, the property owners (Vacasa) let us know that there would be ‘construction on the beach in front of the house’. I contacted them and they ensured there would still be a ‘beach vibe’. However, when we arrived, there was a new house (same owner as the house we rented) that was under active construction and blocking half the view from the house. The beach was strewn with boards, metal, nails, etc. from the construction. And from 8-4pm each day a boom lift (very loud and shaking the house) and crew were installing windows. We contacted the property owners multiple times, who had a quick response time to say they were looking into it, but there was never any response about the construction. It ruined being at the house during the day for three days we were there. Dauphin Island has many beaches, so we went elsewhere. But it was impossible to get to the beach with all the workers and construction machinery. Asked Vacasa for a refund, they said they would give one night, but we have heard nothing more. I recognize they can’t always control construction, however, it’s their property, they knew about it, and clearly the construction had been going on for more than 10 days as the house was near completion. If we had known or been offered information about what was really going on, we could have tried to rebook. I will never rent from Vacasa again.

Everything was great. House is right on the water without being in the water. We did have a problem with finding nails in the sand from the new house in the front. That was a bit concerning for us with having smaller children. But overall we had a wonderful time.

The home’s pictures shows it as being the house that faces the water from the back deck - with no other house in front of it. Not true. There is now a VERY large house in front of it. There is a tiny sliver of beach access that ultimately is shared by 4 large homes. This home has the bare bones of items. Cups, plates, silverware. Some cooking utensils. Most of the pans are old. The cookie sheets (2 small) have rust on them. There is an iron - but no ironing board. In one of the bedrooms toward the back of the house there was a closet with a place to hang clothes. No hanging bar in the second closet - so it was useless. Driveway was not clearly marked-we arrived at night and since the roads had water on them we couldn’t see a driveway at all. 1-ply tp. Really? In a home rental that cost this much? The biggest issue was the bait and switch. We rented this unit excited about our time on the island. We were looking forward to spending this time with our family on the beach. We were sent an email a little before our arrival that there was construction on a “nearby house”. In reality the construction is directly between this house and the water. Now there is a large house blocking most of the view. We were woken up each day at 8am with a large lift that was so loud. It sounded like a large tractor lifting a painter up to paint the house. Then repositioning over and over again. Every time it backed up - the loud beeping then forward, backward - over and over again. No way should this house be rented during this construction. Vacasa and the owners of this house should not have rented this house while they were constructing so close. The construction crew and contractors could see right into the house as there are no curtains in the living room area for any privacy. We had to keep our bedroom curtains closed all day until the workers left. Truly - this rental was disappointing. Where you stay has such a big impact on your overall experience and ours was poor. So - don’t trust any pictures.

We loved our stay.Home just as pictured. Only 2 issues 1) the new construction between the house and the ocean cut the view in half. and it was an active construction site during half our stay. And 2) the kitchen is very bare bones. All the pot, pans, and dishes are nice but zero perishable (not even salt and pepper). Once we made big trip to town for groceries, we had an amazing time!!

Pros: beautiful new house, very comfortable and nice layout. Wonderful beach steps from the stairs! Great internet connection. Nice amount of towels in the bathrooms. Each room has a good tv. Deck and hot tub are fabulous. There is a gas grill. Would book again. Cons: No cable as advertised- no live tv unless you have internet subscription. Very low water pressure in shower and beds are very very firm. Kitchen could use a little more pots and pans -we cooked a lot. There isn’t a Keurig coffee maker- just a mr coffee but is programmable. Lights do a lot of surging like there’s an electrical problem with the wiring - happens in every room.

This home is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS inside & out (A Must Book)!! PROS: * Perfect location w/ AMAZING VIEWS!!! * Super modern house, very spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated and furnished throughout * Beautiful Deck to die for with super comfortable and sturdy furnishings * Well stocked kitchen with the right appliances, cookware, utensils etc. CONS: * Blinds or curtains on deck windows would’ve been nice for privacy * Some of the doorknobs were loose * A few of the cover blankets had stains * Some of the wash clothes had stains, but you can tell they had been washed * Dirty placemats * Parking, we only had 2 vehicles, but it could pose a problem for 4 cars Overall, it was AWESOME, and I would definitely book it again in a heartbeat!!
