Property is lovely, large and well maintained without feeling cavernous. Perfect for our group size (16 with 5 couples) and proximity to Canaan Valley ski was a big selling point. Interaction was minimal, responses from Mountaintop were prompt and succinct. Had a bit of difficulty getting the booking made as our initial booking was cancelled without warning, but ultimately the actual process of checking in/out and getting needed information was easy.

A couple items could be improved upon. Yard access from the deck, water pressure in upper floor bathrooms. Jack and Jill toilet seat needs replaced. a few lightbulbs need replaced, pantry, main living. Additional refrigerator (not the small one at the bar). There's plenty of room in the laundry room for another refrigerator. Overall a great house ~ from location to room size !! Great to work with - responsive

Great place for a family get together

My family thoroughly enjoyed this home. That said, here are some things you need to know before going. There is no jacuzzi tub. A large walk-in shower has been substituted. The kitchen utensils can handle a large group. The ice and water dispensers on the refrigerator do not work. Be careful, items in the refrigerator will freeze. The temperature is set too low but the sign says not to change. You will need you own bed pillows. I didn't know there could be such flat bed pillows. The location is great. We went horseback riding, visited the Purple Fiddle in Thomas, went to the state parks and even the Gandy Dinner Theater in Elkins. You can see deer from the windows in the house.
