The house was very clean with a kitchen that was ideal for cooking "at home". The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Delightful in the chilly evenings. Very close to Blackwater Falls Park and other interesting places. I recommend!

This was a fantastic property and we had such a relaxing stay for the weekend. The view is incredible and the hot tub was perfect. The house was very clean and very well stocked with soap, toilet paper, etc. Just be sure you make note of the gate code before you leave for the day in case you get back later than expected! We'd definitely go back here.

It was an ok stay.

We booked to go skiing with our family. We had some unexpected surprises such as the house we originally rented had pipes freeze so they did adjust and put us in another house, but it was very dated and kind of dirty. They told us that all of the other houses were booked, but there was probably only one or two other houses occupied even around us. I wish they would’ve offered us some kind of discount, but we really didn’t get given a choice, When we arrived. We had to shovel our own path because they had received a lot of snow and we also had to request the cleaning people who were still in the house and we arrived at 4 o’clock to have someone come up and plow the driveway so we could actually get to the house. It is all baseboard heating so it was kind of chilly we also had to go get our own firewood and we couldn’t really run the fire place because the smoke was going in the house when we tried . We also had to shovel a path and clear off the hot tub or we would not have been able to use it. There were TVs in every room, but the only TV that really worked was the main living room. Our bedroom TV did not work and they’re not all smart TVs so you might want to bring a DVD player or have something else for the kids to do when they get back from skiing.The bedding was not on all the beds either, we had to wait for housekeeping to bring us the starter supplies, overall it worked because of the location. It was very close to the ski resort, but I’m not sure we would rent again.

A little piece of heaven

Davis is such a a beautiful area!! It snowed while we were here and it couldn’t have been any better. We visited Black water falls and that was an amazing sight to see!! We tried acupuncture only 10 mins way. Horse back riding 5 mins down the road. The cabin was great!! Bed aren’t the most comfy but that’s okay. Definitely coming back

Perfect getaway!

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and had a GREAT time! The house is spacious, comfortable, and convenient to fun options in Davis and Thomas. We would absolutely return in the future. The only issue we had is that the house does get a fair amount of flies and bugs, but that is understandable for the unseasonably warm weather during our visit.

Mountain high view

Horse back trail was the best. There were very few things to do. Everything was over an hour it two hours away. Most of the stores in Davis were closed.

Peaceful

Very peaceful stay. Weather was perfect (60-70 degrees). House would be difficult to cool if temperatures were warmer with no air conditioning. Most window cranks were broken so they couldn't be opened.

Fantastic Location

Our group of 3 couples enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed. The drive to Timberline was simple. If I had any suggestion for the property it would be a bigger hot tub for a house of this size, our group couldn't enjoy it together at the same time. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and cozy. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after hiking, the stars when it was a clear night were amazing. The property is conveniently located close to the state parks. Great view of the fall foliage from the balconies and common spaces! Only drawback was that we didn’t realize the upstairs room was a loft style that is open to the common space below, we were thankful we brought our sound machines to not bother the baby, but would have been nice to know that ahead of time. We would stay here again!

August mountain stay

It was a lovely location, view and hot tub was fantastic and communication with the property manager was very quick and efficient which made it worth the 6 hour trip there and stay. I would say though that the listing didn’t say anything about a third section of the house up a tiny ladder which is located directly above the stairs so if someone falls on/off the ladder, they’re going to continue to fall down the next set of stairs to get to the third floor of the home. My kids are old enough and stayed safe climbing up and down but if you have younger curious kids, I could see how this would difficult to manage and cause some anxiety. I found a dead cockroach in the upstairs bathroom, dead moth in the bedroom, some of the windows wouldn’t open even tho they had screens. The blinds fell out of the window when I was just adjusting them which I was able to fix but again…this could have hurt someone if they weren’t paying attention, housecleaning also left dirty dusting rag on the upstairs bed.
